hi, so my instructor said dont need to say about responsibility and scaling, just ask what kind of help you need from me
@MQWDrivingSchool5 күн бұрын
If you guys already working together for a long and it is the same stuff same car. Yes, it is not so necessary as your pupil already knows it. You just tell or show the examiner that the scale is already done and the pupil already knows everything so we will continue our lesson as normal.
@Lanzy4lee6 күн бұрын
I was lead to believe the new part three post covid is the exams joining you mid through your lesson so I unclear re this story of the pdi asking for history of the pupil. Like it's a start of a lesson the first here at the start is more like the old check test ie my instructor is ill your covering etc. re the scaling it's used more as an internal process ie how are pupil feels re confidence after all the instructor would know if externally if the pupil has improved the pupil may feel he his more confident. Think of it this way you do a mock test on a pupil the pupil says he his a good driver but the instructor examiner would decide that so scaling is being mis understood in this context. Re risk at start the driver who I assume is the trainer pointed towards the duals as the pdi was about to forget shared responsibilities then the pdi states the pupil is responsible the pdi never mentions how he can keep pupil safe. It all looks scripted and not natural. Re directions the pdi never mentions he will give directions follow the road ahead etc at 10 50 it was a late direction to pull in. Why not just let the pupil decide the place to pull in. Ie can you find some where to pull in that's safe legal and convenient . Re talk about roundabouts I'm not sure about bringing up blockers on the mini roundabout before pulling in. Using A small mini roundabout for blockers is risky in my opinion. He mentions the roundabout for a blocking but it's a nice I roundabout not a larger roundabout. Indicators in mini roundabouts to exit are as good as useless given they would be on for less than a couple of seconds the speed and position of the vehicle is the best signal of the vehicles intentions. 17.50 I feel the blind spot checks moving off are needed again given the time delay . 20.15 the pupil said has he exited the roundabout the cars will wait for me for sure ? ? Which cars was he referring to ? The vehicles to his right on the approach to roundabout obviously don't need to wait. And the cars on the right as he exits with a left signal theoretically don't need to wait. . the pdi kept mentioning speed limit signs did the pupil have that need was he ever speeding at any point ? No. The pdi given the flow of the roundabout and lack of cars should of focused more on the space to enter more than blockers. 23.09. a closed junction ! Again using us it open closed junctions is instructor speak and I have found pupils get confused with this terminology.23min I assume you asked the pdi pull in re the pedestrian. Why didn't the pdi mention the new crossing rule about should give way to pedestrians if safe to do so. New road new mirrors but why ask the pupil why we are looking behind again. Re the pupil asking the pdi to ask him if it's safe to go. It just ends up as a prompt to go. What not ask the pupil can you tell me when you think it's safe to go. Give the pupil the initial responsibility. Which is the last vehicle. Asking the lada question whilst the pupil slowly going past park cars was not the best times. It's 30 here maybe no repeaters etc. How is that roundabout at 35 min an closed junction the view on approach was very very good. Pdi seems a nice guy hope he passes. Debrief. Should be simple what went well what can we improve on and finally what shall we focus on next lesson

Thank you so much for watching the video And concluding feedback. You are right to pick all the faults and weaknesses. That was the main goal to let the Pdi do what he thinks is fine to do. So we can correct him. His date is not due yet. Like a learners we have to let them do mistakes to learn from their own mistakes.

Hi I really like your videos. Your way of teaching is very near to real test. That is amazing. But what PDI did mistakes , plz mention them in thr end of the video. Doesn't matter if video is long. In this learner is saying he is confused in road marking but pdi is not picking up much? Please little bit elaborate this. And he got pass or not with this? Thank you

Sorry to approach you this way, but has anyone had any experience booking a part 2 test recently? I'm trying but the GOV.UK page says: "No tests found on any dates" and shows to every location across London, any ideas on how can I book it, shall I put "Place test on hold"? Any answer is welcome
@AtteyaRashidАй бұрын
Yes you have to book on hold then you wait until you get a date. Bear in mind waiting times are long for a test once you're on hold keep checking for cancellations
@MQWDrivingSchoolАй бұрын
Yes. Best way to put the test on hold. But still look for cancellations each day. Or join Facebook pages and check for test swaps between two Pdi.

On hold is the best way. Facebook pages for swaps if you found it for later dates. Check all regions north and south.

Are all learners responsible for the risk of the car or is it because he was a full driving license holder
@MQWDrivingSchool2 ай бұрын
Who holding the controls should be responsible for risk safety of the passenger's car and other road users then responsibility shift to the instructor if the driver Dont do his or her job properly that's why we keep and eye on the surrounding and pupils actions.

Am back to complete my story, 4 days after my mock test I had my first driving test, which I failed, nd the reason for failing is : the examiner asked me to pull up on the left, I checked my mirrors , nd I indicated left , as I was about to stop I saw a dropped kerb and then I decided not to stop there. So I continued going leaving the left signal on for a long time trying to find the perfect spot to stop, and that confused lots of drivers behind me. In my defense I was really scared 😢and overly anxious. 10 days later I came back for a second test, I was given the same examiner , he gave me same routine as the last time, and after abt 40mins he said to me congratulations 🎊 you passed ur test. 😅 now am the happiest person on earth 🎉 I hope my story/journey helps u in one way or another . Thank you @MQW for all you do. Ur videos are wonderful and I wish for them to be seen by the whole world.thanks and bye.

First of all, accept our apology for the late reply. Secondly, big congratulations 🎉 on your passing and having your full Driving license. Exam anxiety and overthinking on the test while taking the exam are common faults of failing.
