Time flies when I discover your beautiful video Si Beagh Si Mhor dreaming that I can play that tune to. And know I play this tune. 😊

I do appreciate you, Molly, and Roy Zimmerman, and the author of We shall Overcome, And Pete Seeger, who sang We Shall Overcome so I could hear it.

Molly I love this.. so much in fact that I’m trying to play it. I feel you have the A and E levers funny lol. What’s the lever set up? Please and thank you :) I love your work.

Thanks so much, and sorry for the late reply! Let's see...it's in Eb major (A, E and B strings tuned to Ab/Eb/Bb, which is how I have my harp tuned), with a good few accidentals all over the place (darn you Sondheim! :)). I sort of improvisationally adapted it from a piano arrangement. Gosh, I haven't played it in ages...need to get that back under my fingers!

So passionate yet soothing. Bravo! Bravo! I love your singing and playing. Thank you for bringing back memories of the 70s. My wife and I will be performing this song in our church next month, with ukulele and mandolin for accompaniments.

where did you get the chords for this song?
@mollificent3 жыл бұрын
Juniebug I think I just worked them out by ear (I may have looked online for corroboration, but online chord sites can be unreliable). The first step was figuring out that it was in a harmonic minor scale, which made the rest a little easier! 😉)

Thanks so much, Matthew! Alas, my rendition, like almost all of my arrangements, is about 90% "make it up as you go along". ;)
