Why doesn't mine turn on when I cycle through to manual?

I've had two brand new hubs and neither worked. More frustratingly is the help for this issue is non existent I can't find any videos for hub IDs not being recognised. I called support and they blame my internet provider but my internet is fine and my provider said its nothing to do with them which i agree with its the device that has the issue not the internet. My parents one works fine but mine has been a nightmare 2 weeks later still no luck. Hive need to do better I'm going elsewhere don't believe the hype!!! there must be better products than this one.

These Hive thermostats are a real headache, frankly I think they are really trash. Also been on the Hive themselves and all they want is for you to upgrade to a more expensive thermostat, but won't admit the ones shown here are faulty and defunct!! Also this post tells you what is plain and obvious but avoids showing the very complicated long winded way to set the damn thing to come on or off automatically when desired!! Rather they want to charge £100:00 for an "engineer" to call and set it up for you claiming it takes only five minute,, at those rate I was in the wrong job all my working life!!

My thermostat says no RF and after reset it keeps saying finding .... looks like no radio frequency established .... anyone knows how to resolve that?

It's 0430 it's summer and it has a mind of it's own - heating full on, wife wakes me up. and it's full on. Old style thermostat Model SLT2 turns on automatically - and will not turn off. Despite all dials etc on phone turned off. What can I do? Green light is on, on boiler. They do not care
