Head-up display and Bose premium audio as standard equipment? That's astounding. Also, like you, I don't want a sunroof. My 2010 Altima came with one - I think I've opened it once in 15 years. I really don't get the appeal of having a large rectangular hole in the roof of my car.

Other than the excellent steering response, its not worth the premium over rav 4 hybrid, the ride is too stiff and intrusive, cabin noise is on par with rav 4 hybrid too. I would rather get the Mazda CX50 turbo

More like competition with a well equipped Equinox..then the Korean built GM en😢try level cars. No go on Chinese assembly. Very attractive in and out. Save you cash for Sportage or Tucson twjn. Safe and Happy New Year. Keep good reviews !😮

I bought this exact truck+ the charge cable option for 45k + tax 2 weeks ago I think it’s a good value compared to the trd I’m not sure how it compares to a raptor as I only considered the most reliable mid sized Nissans and Toyotas. I’m averaging 21 mph mostly rural hwy miles. Cameras aren’t great quality but I love the 360 view and front camera for parking. You can configure the screen for full view and it is awesome

I believe you are speaking about Hyndai and Kia cars, Toyota hybrid setup including the ECVT is the best engine and transmission in terms of reliabilty.

The fact that Mazda in collaboration with Toyota built this car with Toyota hybrid tech, you can buy this Mazda with confidence and expect 150K kms before slightly issue.

I bought one of these in Tasman blue. Obsidian black quilted leather with red stitching. I haven't found anything I don't like about the car. I've owned Audi A6s for 15+ years. I didn't need the size of the A6 anymore and didn't care to pay the Audi price tag either. This is my first Genesis. I love the car and the warranty. Very quiet, comfortable ride. Beautiful Lexicon (Harmon Cardon) premium sound system. Sounds as good as or better than the Bose systems in my previous A6s. I highly recommend the 2025 G70 3.3T Sport Prestige AWD.

They went from a V6 3.5L to a 4-Cylinder 2.0L Turbo.. should have stayed with the V6. When a turbo fails, it's at least 10K to fix or replace, way too costly for what it's worth.

Great overview, but I don’t understand why Mazda had to lose the heated steering wheel and the heated rear seats with the hybrid, but only for the US market. In Canada the hybrid keeps those features.

I was looking into a Toyota RAV4 or hybrid version with AWD or or the Volkswagen Tiguan. The one the I don’t like about Toyota is the interior. It look very cheap and ugly. I have a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta SE TSI and have 0 issues. Just want something more bigger since I travel with friends and carry a lot of stuff.
@chabbysridesКүн бұрын
If you don’t like the RAV4 interior, check out a Mazda CX-50. They come in gas only or hybrid. Better interior and more modern look.

Oh that was another option but I don’t like that tablet it have. I was looking for more digital display. Which I like the Volkswagen Tigue one cockpit display. The exterior on the the RAV4, Tiguan , Mazda are nice. Just the interior I have a problem with the rav4 and Mazda

Outdated infotainment! Bring that screen closer and make it touch screen. Nice hybrid otherwise. Did you hear my Nissan might become a Honda?! lol
@chabbysrides2 күн бұрын
I did. I wouldn’t hold my breath over that but we’ll see. Something has to give or else Nissan is toast. I also heard Hyundai is interested. Btw..Mazda won’t do a touchscreen. They think it’s too distracting. That’s what they told me.
@magnoliap58242 күн бұрын
@ yeah my sister has the CX-5 she doesn’t really use the screen, uses her cellphone. I do think Honda will merge with Nissan, Honda is trying to keep another company from buying 30% of Nissan. Interesting times.
@jlanetmanКүн бұрын
I’m looked at this vehicle closely. Why do you say the entertainment system is outdated? I have been looking at the Honda CRV and in my opinion the Japanese vehicles are behind. I currently have been buying Hyundai and Kia products. They seem to be on the leading edge on the entertainment. The only downside I have seen to the Mazda CX 50. Is the display at low speeds are touch. At higher speeds you have to use the dial. I heard there was a setting so that touchscreen is always accessible.
@magnoliap5824Күн бұрын
@@jlanetman it’s too far away, can’t reach it, I’ve driven the cx-5. My Nissan’s touchscreen is very close and more intergraded into the dash. 😂

Picked up our Coastal Gray /Boulder limited 9 days ago. So quiet, so smooth, so fun. Seats are even better than our 2018 CRV Touring. 45-50mph city, 33mph in the 15 degree winter highway drive. Great for us, empty nesters. JBL audio sounds very nice. Big carplay screen. Wish it had a touch more storage upfront

A nice-looking Mazda CX-50 Hybrid. Lots of useful options on this vehicle for around $42,000. Much bigger in overall size than the 2025 Subaru Outback and costs less. I am wondering why they used a Toyota engine setup. Toyota vehicles now seem to be shot down for a lot of engine, transmission, electronics problems.
@chabbysrides2 күн бұрын
Mazda and Toyota share back office services plus assembly plants, so I think borrowing the RAV4 hybrid setup made sense. Save R&D costs and I haven’t heard of RAV4 hybrid driveline issues.
