So this video is about using your DAW as a mixer not recording and mixing a song? I can see why people want to do that specially when you have live performances and you want to playback prerecorded music with a minimum of trouble and gear involved. Cause if you where to trust the internet when you record and mix that would not be ideal. I have two of the first Atem Minis they released and I found out you can also use the HDMI ports on it for line in audio by using audio embedders. The audio stream in an Atem is pro quality so I believe it should be possible to get a pretty ok quality signal even through the 4 HDMI camera inputs and not only via the two Line in ports.

So I downloaded your Companion setup and went through and changed all the settings and variables as you say to, but it does not recognize my stream deck. And I am not running the Stream Deck software. On the Configured Surfaces tab in the Surfaces tab, there is a stream deck and an xkeys listed but they both say Offline. What do I need to do?

To be honest the difference is not big at all both examples sounds really bad. I am sorry I do not want to be a ..... but take a listen to this, its an old Levin guitar that I recorded by using Quicktime and a super cheap big membrane USB condencer mic from Gear4music. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6mWpImpjJ6Dn6Msi=Hm6ryYtHgfu6mCNY I know it is not possible to compare the audio from a big concert hall with a small rom but you say one of these mixes is a digital mix so the possibilities should be pretty good to get a better low end and more body to the sound.

I've used LUFS metering for a while & also read the white papers from the EBU in Europe & the AES in the US. I would personally not try & get audio to average -14LUFS. The whole point of loudness metering is to get away from getting everything to the loudest possible level but maintaining dynamic range. That's often missed. It was literally the starting point to why it was developed for broadcasting! The starting point for broadcast is -23LUFS in Europe. However, mobile devices may not be loud enough & hence a louder average is needed. Around -18lLUFS avoids too much compression - hotter than that will favour studio tracks. The problem in church can be the very wide dynamic range - quiet talkers ect My LUFS is normally around -18 to -19. My TV viewers will need to turn down a bit & mobile devices may need turning up a bit but I check my output on a weak laptop.

You can try real phones program. I believe you will be more surprised

Hi Steven, I have a question I hope you can help me with. I am using Chromecast plugged into a projector, casting from laptop to Chromecast for video and connected to sound desk via Bluetooth for sound. This works well until a video is played that has video and sound - which then projects the picture and sound through the projector (sound is terrible). Is there a way to play a video / clip from laptop to the projector for picture and through the PA for sound?

I started Auto Eq with the Peace app and it directly eq'd my headphones in the computer instead of in the DAW. I use Sennheiser HD 560S headphones.

Setting time delays based off the rear omni mic as 0? Found that for me, on the Wing, time aligning from the Audience mics as 0, I was able to mix in the audience for some sermons where the word was more interactive. Or for performances like symphonic orchestra’s, string instrumental’s, using the audience mic adds the “immersive” aspect to the stream where it’s no longer just a bunch of instruments, it’s also the harmony of the music in the room with its acoustics. Hope this helps someone try somn new and creative! Or perhaps I get taught a lesson as to why that’s not a good practice.

It’s never a good encoder. Dear people in ministry ( please take it to heart - I share out of personal experience, I’ve tried giving yolobox a chance since the beginning ) I’ve tried many different ways . I think all Chinese products are a pain . Yolobox will give you pain and endless glitches and frustrations. Stick with ATEM hardware And invest into good PC or Mac Believe me no professional ministry uses these Chinese items . Instead look into Vmix And good video capture cards . Or a ATEM product and a few good laptops . Keep in mind that all the ads out there that advertise yolobox look good because they don’t use it 😂 If you look at actual yolobox footage it’s all always looks jerky , frames skipping . Number of cameras don’t word . It’s because it’s an android platform and Chinese device have bad cpu and low memory . This device is not reliable. There are so many crashes complains in the middle of the show . Such is not acceptable and never happens with any ATEM or PC or Mac product . Yolobox is only for a super mobile setup. You are welcome - you will thank me . Take a look at an actual stream footage 🤢 You will know right away that it’s junk. Looks very cheap but costs a lot

How do you get this to work for input devices on windows, like speakers, that play youtube audio etc

Great Video. Is there a way to DSK graphics/titles/Thirds from OBS to a switcher like ATEM Mini or OSEE GoStream? For example, I use proclaim presenter to DSK lower third graphics to the GoStream while recording or streaming no OBS. I know how to run the GoStream switcher USB into OBS as a video source. But I want to do the opposite if that makes sense. Use OBS not to stream, but as a graphics source and stream from the switcher. Thanks in advance and great video.
