Thank you! My presser foot won't go up and down. The lever wouldn't lift so I sprayed some oil on the back and finally that moves but the foot doesn't go up and down. Any suggestions?

Hello, I bought a Yamaha RA-100 a few years back and then moved, long story short, it has sat in a closet for about 4 years now and I'm wanting to get it back in playing shape but I no longer live near a tech that can work on it. Would you happen to know how and where to oil the rotating speaker assembly? and any other tips and tricks to get it up & running again after sitting so long? (It worked great before it went in storage, its just been so long I'm scared to mess with it without servicing it first!)

"Jan Giradot Master Electronic Organ List" will undoubtedly show the model number of that organ sacrificed was closer to 1968-1975 than mid 80's,. The 80's Yamaha organs were the F series and had solid grill cloth. these Yamaha rotary speakers and "Ear" speakers were introduced in 1968.

Please don’t use this method on your treadle machine. The leather belts wear out because they are DESIGNED to be the sacrificial component. A nylon or rope belt that never wears out will cause the metal wheels of the machine to wear out instead. These magnificent machines have lasted about 100 years, but won’t last another hundred years with belts that don’t absorb the wear of the moving parts.

Bought a Sig Sauer 380 P238. Sigths are awful. Adjustment tool not included with the weapon. Will never buy Sig Sauer again. Call to the company was of no help.

I got one of these Chinese copy as a gift, it sew like a dream, I do all my heavy sewing on it. However I’m wondering if they made a manual for the clone specifically, so far I’ve been following singer 15-88 manual, but I want to try different projects now and I want to know what other feature it has. Can anyone help me find a manual ?

I just got this exact model sewing machine, but it doesn’t have a bobbin case. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

Awesome, we just bought a 1930s Kenmore e6354 which looks exactly like yours. You're threading up the upper and lower bobbin was perfectly executed! We were struggling with that but now we're sewing away. Thank you for the great instruction!

I have this same machine. I paid $85 for it, without a motor, I put a motor on it and it works perfectly, really sews better than the new machine I have.

This looks like the machine I bought through Montgomery Ward Direct, in December 1993. The booklet with it identified it as a 15 CH, models 1 and 11. On geocities came a quote from "The Encyclopedia of Antique Sewing Machines, 3rd Edition", accessed in Feb of 2005. The machine and treadle case sold at $249.99 (+tax and S&H) " The Model 15NLhas been made in Taiwan since the early 1980s.An identical machine, the Model 15CH, is currently manufactured in China. Both are based upon the Japanese HA2-2 class machines, which were copies of the Singer Model 15 manufactured from the late 1940s through 1960s. ..." I have had to jurry rig a replacement connection rod for the treadle. The instruction book is "poor" and so over the years, I have had to "re-find" related information.

Thank you so much for this straightforward video! My father bought me an E-6354 when I was in high school and it sat in his barn for 30 years. I just got it out of the barn last year and fell in love with it but it's so foreign to the computerized machines I've sewn on for the last 20 years. Your video is a god-send!!!!

I have one very similar to this. Millions of them were made in china and japan. Mine is under the name Raleigh. A lady in a vintage sewing machine group said that they do sew beautifully.

Kind Sir, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and giving clear instructions. I just got this one and the friction rubber is dented like you described from storage. I am ordering one today. I was threading it wrong and didn’t have the bobbin thread caught properly. So, you have helped me immensely. Keep up the good work, please. 😊

You don't know which I thank you for this video, I really don't dedicate myself to the repair of sewing machines. I am a systems engineer and they asked me to check one which was entangling the thread and in addition to giving it its general service, with its video I was able to thread the sewing machine well and thus I learned a little more. I thank you again and I send you greetings from Mexico City

I bought one of these in rough shape at an antique mall for $10. Spent a lot of time cleaning it up and getting it working. I bought several new parts for it. Eventually turned and ran beautifully. The closest I got to sewing correctly was 1 inch of perfect stitches before it snapped the thread. It then got worse and worse every time I cleaned and adjusted it. Finally gave up when one of the cast iron parts on a control arm broke. It was getting worse because the guts were falling apart...
