The base gun is a Marui MWS CQB-R. Internals: FEDA Npas, 4uad hop, GM triggerbox, MEC buffer... Externals: Geiselle MK14 rail, Federal Concepts RAM Magwell, K2+ XL grip, hydra mount, huey (uh-1), OGL, emissary foregrip, unity axion button, modlite light... (mostly repros) :)

Thanks! It was purchased at Taiwangun, an EU shop. Looks like it's out of stock right now though. If you can you should try to get the version with the windowed PMAG as that version seems to have a normal sized MWS magwell. The version from Taiwangun has a uniquely designed magazine which is a bit thicker than standard MWS mags and therefore the magwell is a bit larger as well to accomodate this. If you use the slightly smaller original MWS mags they can wobble when firing which in turn can lead to the nozzle head breaking when it skips over the bb and slams into the metal hop house. Looks like Evike Europe has the PMAG version with the correctly sized magwell in stock, if you're in Europe.

@@tobiasfurst-n4d Yes, the inner barrel might be shorter on the US/PMAG version. Makes it shoot just a bit softer. Either way you should install an npas to regulate the fps, like the Feda valve. If you go for the PMAG version you should still check to make sure that there is not any upwards/downwards tilting of the mag when you rock it back and forth. And always make sure mags are well seated. Should save you from any malfunction headache.

I’m currently using this and it’s completely stock and the Magpul style magazine that came with it, sometimes when I’m using it the gun will have the bolt go forward and all the gas will empty out of the mag through the ejection port of the rifle, anybody help with the cause for this and fix?

When it happens. Is the bolt fully forward and locked in? Or is it out of place? If it’s usually working fine then I would think it’s misfeeding and then venting gas as the nozzle is not in the hop chamber fully sealed. Perhaps you are over gassing the mag and liquid gas comes out causing a weak cycle and freezing of the nozzle? You only want about 1/2 to 2/3 of gas in the mag to allow expansion of the gas and not expel liquid. Hard to pin point exact issue without looking at the replica in person.

My initial thought is. The MWS is better in terms of reliability. But it's still early to say anything conclusive about the Toxicant MCX.

it's not bad I think :) will use more air than a polarstar or MTW for sure. I get about 4000 shots out of a 1.1liter 4000psi tank iirc. set to about 120 psi

What magazine should i use for this gun? Because i have TM mags for 40 euro. Will they work great or not?

Depends if you have the EU version or not. If you have the EU version you need to shim the magwell to make sure there is no excessive play. Otherwise the mag can tilt forwards/backwards when shooting which can cause the nozzle to ride above the feed lips and smash into the hop unit and break.

0.32g bbs. Parts changed. G&p buffer. Return spring. Federal concepts npas. Bavtac hop nub. Pts mec 60 rubber. New return spring (the bavtac iirc). Mags have guarder airtight gaskets.

Thanks for a great write up. I’m just getting into airsoft with my son and decided what the hell let’s go gas instead of aeg and I’m glad i chose this gun. Only had it for a few days just playing with it in my backyard trader practicing and i really like it. Just have to get more mags but it’ll have to be incremental adds because those mags aren’t cheap

Bought at Taiwangun. Internally there’s a g&p buffer with shifting weights. New nozzle, return spring, npas (federal concepts feda valve). Bavtac hop nub. Pts mec 60 hop rubber.

I would use 144a gas or duster gas anyways with a MWS system (unless it's aluminium or steel - then green or red gas). But I've been thinking of picking this one up. Your cons are almost all cosmetic, so internally no issues (which I find more important).

Hi, i have done the velcro shiming in the lower receiver but the mws mags still jams the bolt i also have a KF airsoft nozzle installed maybe this is the problem somebody recommended me to buy GM feed lips because they sit a bit higher but honestly i have no idea Thank you in advance for your help

Might be the nozzle, not sure. Does the mws mag wobble alot with the bolt locked back? There should only be slight play and the nozzle feed arm should be able to move freely if you manually pull the bolt and release it slowly. Either you shimmed too tight or too loose.

@@leventebenedek3302 Can you try the original DE nozzle? There is supposed to be some friction when you release the bolt manually but not sure how much you mean there is on yours. It's just to make sure that the nozzle doesn't travel over the top BB in the mag which is one cause of misfeed and broken nozzle.

Im not sure tbh. It seems to depend on the combo of the nub and the rubber. I’ve had good performance out of the pts mec rubber paired with bavtac magic nub. In some guns I run maple leaf autobot or whatever they called.

A lot! My guns internals keep changing. haha. Cant remember what was in the gun at this stage. The Guns Modify triggerbox is visible though. Very nice trigger once you have it dialed in.
