I use a similar lure just different brand. This week I nailed white bass one after the other. They just loved the look.

Anyone else find that "catch" sketch?

i caught PB fish with the mullet and Barramundi loves it. that dorsal fin made the lure less likely to snag although not entirely snag proof it also made me lost more fish than i caught with it. yes you can attach treble hook under it but with how much the lure cost and the nature of my fishing spots, i rather lose fish than to lose the lure to a snag. and lastly one piece of advice, bring superglue, durability isnt its best trait. A mangrove jack will tear the body, even fighting non toothy fish will tear it around the hook area so yeah havin superglue in hand will help.

I picked up another dozen of these (5 1/2" and 6 1/2" Golden Shiner) for two Brazil trips later in the year. A few months back in Colombia I only took one and landed a 20 pound peacock and then a 10 a few minutes later. It held together the rest of the trip with superglue and strips of braid, jumped off a 20+ and pulled off another big fish and with a little first aid it's still usable. Next time they will get the stinger treble on the bottom.

Any reason why he doesn't use swivels

I've just started using these end of last year. I've had the best walleye catches with it. I do not use it as erratic as this demo but a medium pull and it starts super wobbling, extremely good action. Used the 202 model, caught more than anyone going over the same spot the whole week.

I found these a bit difficult to master the correct speed since it tends to like a good initial pull to start spinning. When retrieving to the boat and by looking at it go, I quite coudn't tell if it had the action I was aiming for. Had 3 good quality swivel at one time and still no there, may be a little more time on the lake, we''ll see. I've used tons of Mepps which could spin and exhibit a good constant action from a variety of speeds.

Ill test them out for a free review, give an honest opinion. For the price $2.50 a minnow they are a pass and hardly stocked anywhere because of their cost. Support your local bait shop and economy buy live minnows; these expensive things are China made.

Never understood why a right handed angler would use a left-hand reel? I'm right handed and use only left-hand retrieve reels, much easier to impart action with your dominant arm

Best anatomically correct swim baits to date! Period. Case closed. And the action on them, to me, look as if it’s an injured bait. Can’t ask for anything more. Caught many stripers on the blue herring & gizzard shad colorway. LOVE THESE SOFT BAITS 👍 Live Target did a spectacular job on these.

How exactly do you retrieve these lures?

Used the croaker all week in south Florida targeting big snook, mostly from a sea wall on a canal. Here’s my two cents. Okay, three. These baits (I also bought the mullet and sardine) look incredibly natural and the action is very good. The hook placement behind the dorsal does indeed act like a weed guard. However, I did miss a lot of fish. (I did not try adding the treble.) That said, I suspect the fish that didn’t get hooked, were smaller than I wanted to hook anyway, probably 24” or less. But this bait was getting strikes when others were not. Then today I hooked and landed a 43 incher. She absolutely slammed it and was hooked perfectly in the corner of the mouth. So, I’m sold. My only observation is that when targeting less than monsters, maybe add the treble. Overall, I’m very impressed.
