Is there a better time of day to book this tour (morning vs afternoon)? Does the weather (temp or rain) come into play?

Public batrooms are not plentiful. Stop when you can. Don't wait until you have to.

That’s a good tip! Your guides make it a point to have plenty of rest stops.

@@TheHawaiiVacationGuide We found out the hard way, but we got lucky. The first time we stopped, we saw a stand. They didn't have a bathroom - even though we were willing to buy something. However, there was a park attached - where you could go in for $20 apiece and use the bathroom there. Climbed back into the car and found a place a few miles down the road. We all made it in time. So, after that, we stopped. Sone areas have incredible views of the ocean coast, so it was worth the stop.

Road to Hana!!! Lots of waterfalls. Scenery. Bathrooms a bit short in supply. Stop when you can, not when you have to.

Was in Hawaii in Dec 23. Stayed on Maui and the Big Island. Had a wonderful time. Didn't want to leave. On Maui, looking to fill some time, visit the Aquarium. Also, don't feed the chickens.

Also I loved my week in Kua’ai but didn’t get to do anything. Should I go back or definitely go to another island? I liked the slow non-touristy vibe.

I scouted high and low for a luau that wouldn't be just kitschy but meaningful on our trip to the Big Island. I felt through their storytelling how much they love their culture. I didn't even eat that much, although it was all you could eat. For me it was a profound learning experience 💓

Hey! Do you have any videos specifically about places to eat? I once saw something called huli huli chicken (I may not have spelled it correctly) being sold roadside on a show and I'd love to try it. Do you know a specific road where it might be found? I'd love to try authentic Hawaiian foods and local favorites if possible. Also curious if there's farmer's markets or any good local farms to visit.

Just came back from KAUAI, sad to say that like my previous 4 trips the weather was extremely bad with the rain and dark clouds 85% of the time... We always vacationed in what was supposed to be the "DRY SEASON" just a week ago in May, and previously in June and July. You were very lucky to get such sunshine for your videos, but like a fool I kept hoping or rather gambling the next trip would see at least 50% sunshine, but I can't afford to throw the dice anymore, maybe you had better luck in the wet season? Great presentation, thank you...
@TheHawaiiVacationGuide6 күн бұрын
Thats a bummer for you! I think you got hit by that late season kona low storm. Kauai is the wettest island so try Oahu or the leeward side of Maui.

Hello from Los Angeles! Planning a solo trip to the Big Island at the end of September/early October and I have been consuming your content voraciously. Thank you! Quick question... is it pretty safe to drive on the Big Island as a tourist?

Thank you for this video. My husband and I have always wanted to visit Hawaii. We live in a well known ski resort in western Canada… long winters, rainy in spring and fall, nice summers but at most 3 months. Living in a tourist destination we can’t take traditional holiday periods off as we’re busy working. We’re taking our vacation end of September to beginning of October. I was really unsure about Hawaii then but this video has helped me decide. Can’t wait to visit!

Wonderful video, very informative, but I actually wanted to see the Halekulani the most since I’m staying there in September and I also really like your style of video (very to-the-point and I like how you cover every important aspect of the hotels without having to do a drawn out walk through) as opposed to other online reviews😂 Ah well, c’est la vie!!!
