Sail Maui does a great job with their tour from Ma'alaea Harbor. They have their Lanai tour up and running again from Ka'anapali Beach which is great.

What about tourist tax $50 per person, how would they collect that?

It is still a proposal and the proposal is a $25 tax. I assume they would collect it on the airplane ticket or cruise ticket as an additional fee. It will be interesting to see if it passes. They already have the highest visitor taxes in America.
