While the fella was wrong to park there, traffic wardens are Nazis and no one likes them. Apart from you lot here.

TA1137 the biggest Jobsworth in the Triangle area. You'd think this knob was on £100 an hour how serious he takes himself and his job. Still hiding up alleys waiting to pounce on OAPs? I wouldn't wish this "job" on a dog. These traffic wardens today walk around intimidating people and are aggressive and rude. You'd think these morons are heading for the Polish border in 1939 ready to invade.

Yet another idiot abusing a traffic warden in uniform...this same warden was probably dying to head butt you.. typical abuse to someone doing there job and you got caught...I'd bet a years wages you would NOT stand in front of a builder or a soldier in uniform and go on like a 2 year old ....one word PATHETIC

Disabled people are struggling all the bloody time especially given the way benefits have been cut to nothing and then obvious cretins like this cameraman go around throwing out comments like that to play the victim to try and get out of their mistakes. Do you know how much harder you make life for disabled people if you use comments like that all the time??! People become blind and non sympathetic and then when there's a real hardship and struggle of someone with disability, it's ignored.

What a wanker the man filming this is. Being disabled doesn't make you exempt from the rules, there's a free car park right beside where this is being filmed. Pay the ticket and fuck up sunshine.

I guarantee this traffic warden asked you to move first and you thought you were too important to follow the same rules we all have to follow. Is your wife so disabled that she can stand in a bank alone but not call you to pick her up when she is ready to leave? Enjoy the £45 fine. You earned it.

Rules are rules sunshine. You broke them. Traffic warden just doing his job. Instead of getting up on the face of someone in the middle of a pandemic to abuse them and put them at risk, why don't you make a formal complaint about the ticket or talk to your local representative about it, instead of being a total diick about it?

"My wife's disabled I should be allowed to park wherever I want. I was in the army so rules shouldn't apply to me. Fuck you for (checks notes) just doing your job."

Sadly the lack of discipline in some cars these days leaves a lot to be desired!…It’s not that wardens need to act with any Tyranny whatsoever…It’s a simple case of teaching drivers right from wrong and supervision until you are sure your driver can act responsibly when out of your sight!…I know some of us older ones go on a bit but we were brought up with a tight reign made to go to driving lessons until we were old enough to opt out and parking isn’t that hard to learn!…We weren’t angels or really any better than today’s ex engineers but we certainly learned the word respect and were more inclined to go within our time than act the snowflake…I, truly, feel sorry for drivers today who feel they have nothing more going for themselves than the ability to harass a public servant

Using your wife's situation as an excuse to behave like a boorish ass wipe is about as low as you can go? Are you really that arrogant that you would post this video thinking that people would be behind you? Do you think serving in the army gives you the right to abuse a civil servant? There was only one cretin in the video and it wasn't the traffic warden. Apparently you were asked to move your car and you wouldn't do it, but you fail to mention any of that. Colour me shocked and call me George

I only started watching this to see if I could recognise anyone but so far I don't. I was 5 when this was filmed and have lived most of my life in Portstewart with both my parents coming from original Portstewart families. Yep, I'm at least third generation Portstewart. I think our family was probably living not too far away from the harbour at this time in Stuart's Gardens, above Len Forbes' place. And McGlades shop was there too. All vague memories now. I'll watch the rest of this some other time as I'm still curious to see if there's folk I might recognise.

Although Jim claimed that he was never in any danger!...This is a "complete fabrication!"...Jim could NOT swim and was hanging onto the floating wooden floor, recovered by the RNLI, when we found him!...He was no lightweight and Chris Little's strength was greatly needed to pull Jim from the water!...Their boat sank as the 2 bungs, in the stern, were not put in place!...I was on site the following day when their boat was recovered by The Boy Matthew!...The most valuable lessons learned...1 Do NOT go to sea without wearing a LIFEJACKET...2 Do NOT go to sea if you have never trained to operate any vessel SAFELY..
@rogerdickinson9205 жыл бұрын
David, presumably the boat was launched and not moored. I've seen boats with 1 drain plug but not 2. Who took them out? Previous owner??
@TheByard4 жыл бұрын
Before taking out any boat to sea check it for water tightness, run the engines in gear, check stern glands in inboard set ups. Have bilge pumps and bailers to hand. Small boats can be checked on the hard or trailer simply by filling the inside with water to the waterline. A friend of mine bought a derelict 1930s on the upper Thames, pulled it out onto the hard and cleaned out the hull, an overnight downpour part filled the hull. The boatyard crew commented how well the hull held water so that's a good sign. He spent several years rebuilding the boat back to her 1930s spender.
