You don't even need to kick it out, if you decompress with your weight over the front foot you will slide.

Whoa im 38 been skating my whole life… that just clicked in my brain for the first time ever. It’s like the same idea for transition to bowl skating, but the exact opposite, if that made sense to anyone.

Best video that explains so much, but also goes into clear detail without confusion. 🙏 Barely starting and I can see all my mistakes of which big ones are, set up, foot position and body position.

Hi Im watching this in 2022 and its just as informative and helpful as I'm sure it was back in 2011. Although I was not chad enough to have a longboard when I was 8 at the time, I am now, this guide was super helpful and enjoyable to watch. Hope you're still sliding to this day 10/10

I have a Landyacht long board, it has a cardinal on the bottom a drop through longboard. Bear Grizzly 852 181mm trucks. Hawgs 70mm 78a Leejays wheels. Atlas ABEC 7 bearings. Black grip tape applied to the deck. Width: 10" of the board. Length: 36.5" length of the board. Wheelbase: 27.25. Do you think this is a good board to practice slides on?

Mine is arriving tomorrow, can’t wait, just hope it will stop raining. Can you help me out because I have a dilemma? I have both Paris TKP 169 and Randal 180 lying around and can’t decide which to fit to this board. How will they be different in your opinion?

I think you have to get really good at carving in a longboard than you can proceed to sliding I think many just go straight to sliding and that’s how they get hurt 😆
