The nut should go ontop of the plastic part (on newer bikes anyhow) otherwise you cant adjust it.

How do you refit? Anything specific or just the opposite to removal?

My engines got a vibration at idle and a buzz at 2.5, woresoning till past 3.1k. gonna give it a service and engine flush first, and replace the pcv, but seems this might be my problem. Full set of new injectors in £270. Just the pain of fitting them.

I have the same issue... Why TF the clip isn't facing the other way around and you could actually get to it from underneath. I can only assume it's so it takes longer to do so the garage can charge more money for doing it....😅 (Edit) If like mine you have the headlight washer jets, you need to remove the pained cover panel on the bumper 1st. It's pretty easy just pull it forwards (get a flathead or thin knife underneath to pry it up minding the paint) and it just unclips from the washer pipe underneath. (Again, a flathead is useful here) 👍

"Pull these tabs up. Pop it on, you'll hear it click. And than when it's on push the tabs." This helped me after I ruined a brand new return line. Pull the green tabs up as high as possible, so they don't cover the white clip that should make the clicking sound! Also if you don't get a click, the o-rings might be hard and dry and blocking the connector to fully go down. I changed the o-rings the second time and I got the click and the tabs locked down perfectly this time. Make sure to lube the o-rings it's quite tight and you don't want to ruin them. Haha my boss didn't want to take the bumper off so as I got smaller hands and am the apprentice he had me sticking my hand to get a spanner on the clamp from the bottom of the car 😅 it worked and now we made it so u can rachet the clamp back up together from the bottom instead of going through all that hassle again

My 2008 just started doing this about a week ago. Still waiting on the honda line arriving. They're stupid expensive. Guessing I'll probably need to buy another one before my next service just to keep both pipes about even in degradation

that plastic inner member is an impact absorber, basically first defender for low speed parking collisions etc. It's there to help the plastic bumper cover retain it's shape while protecting the radiator/intercooler/air-con condenser assembly. The second defender is that steel or aluminium crossmember it attaches to.;well it attaches to it on the V60 but i see it fits below the crossmember on yours so maybe more for the intercooler

Does that just attach to the two holes in the wheel well, or is there additional mounting all around the lip? Mine's tore up pretty bad so I dont have a great idea of what it should look like

Nowt wrong with your hose mod, saved a small fortune too, personally, I'd av upgraded the oil cooler too, plenty better/larger cooler on sale with little mods required.

As i can see.. i have to order brake pads for the 16" wheels. Slightly smaller even though I have 300 marked on the caliper,. The pads are slightly larger. With wear , developing a lip on the outside of the pad.. instead of having a lip on the disk itself. I got slanted wear too.. must be for the same reason..

Do you happen to know the size of the torx bolt that holds the injector in place?

Mine started leaking after few days... Had to change the fuel return pipe... And also the orings. But the orings had the price of the original Ford return pipe... I don't like that you can't find some decent rubber rings at lower prices.

i got the same , mine intermittently gets nothing , not even a click, nothing. but when i put it in gear and roll a bit and drop the clutch , it turns the crank a bit it will start. i assume its the solenoid, havent got around to fixing it yet

Hi. do you know the resistance of the coil in the injector? I have about 200 kohm in mine.2 with the same ohms but i have the rest with 2Mohm. sometimes the engine misfires at low rpm with this setup of injectors and my fuel consumption is high.I want to buy some used ones but i dont know if the coil are good.I bought last year 4 used and all of them have 2Mohm coils.

I am giving this a go also, seems a great idea and massive saving on cost.

I have a 2008 VFR thats bine stock. I found out years ago that modify your car, bike or truck you'll lose money on the resale. I spent $$$$ on Rancho Suspension parts on my truck. It rode like hell. When i tried to sell the truck with the mods no one would buy. Luckily i had all rhe EOM parts. I removed the Rancho parts and reinstalled the EOM. Sold the truck right away. Then I tried to sell the Rancho parts online and at a swap meet. No takers. They ended up in a dumpster. I haven't spend a dime on any mods on any of my vehicles since.
