I have literally no idea who I want to main in this game. I'm staring at the character select screen going over every one of them and just thinking "That dude's got great [X] but not good [Y]" ... "That dude's got great [Y] but not good [Z]" .... "That dude's got great [Z] but not good [X]" ... and get utterly nowhere.

Basically, try out everyone in practice mode, and see which one you like. I'm a vet of the series, and that strategy worked for me

Came back to Soul Calibur after over a decade. Joel, you’ve helped me relearn my boy Siegfried, as well as learn Cervantes who I love playing now. Thank you for the incredible content since before the game came out, I look forward to more of whoever you decide to play next (would love some more Cervantes content though!)

That was a really laggy match lol. You need to try and learn some combos etc. and play with people that you have a better connection with.

I haven't had a chance to get back into diddlin' with my main man yet since I've had to get used to how Soul Calibur works. Been fuqin' eons since I've played a fighting game like SC. Took me a good fuqin bit to remember there's a block button. Keep the goochie in the smoochie coochie fights cumin' bud! Nice to see ya playin' on the good ol' Compooper too.

Siegfried has more varied attacks w/ his 4 Stances style while Nightmare has 1 or 2 different stances & can dashwave out of them to enhance his mixups

Thanks, but it's rubbish at the moment, need to practice more. Shen Chan, Docvizzo and Kira are really good Cervy players.
