Vocal group from the West Side of Chicago, whose members were Anthony "Butch" Redmond, Marzette "Slim" Griffith, Fred Smith, Marcus Alexander, and me, Bob Tabor. This song was part of a never-released album we recorded in Chicago, with Jim Peterik, Frank Rand, Willie Henderson, and Quinton Joseph as co-producers.

Another shamefully underrated deep soul singer...along with his label mates.at Goldwax. .O.V. Wright and James Carr. listen also to his version of "I Never Loved a Woman"....compare it to Aretha's "I never loved a Man"....The songs were very popular in the South...unfortunately never got the national distribution and fame enjoyed by the artists at Atlantic, Stax, etc.

I woke up over a week ago, not knowing why this song, "In A Moment", was on my mind every day. So this morning, I went to KZbin to search for it and here it is! Wow, I was 7 years old when this recording came out. Yes, "Record" is what we called it back then. We had the "Albums, 45s, and 78s, not discs, CDs, or internet streams. It really brought back some great memories‼️
