*Just found out that Rae is Tisha Campbell's(Martin) mother, if you listen to the song you can actually hear Tisha through her mothers voice, it is eerie.*

These were NOT The Detroit-based Motown group. These young women were from The New York/Northern New Jersey area.

+losmoutinhos; this track was originally from RCA Victor (now under Sony) - not a(ny) Motown offshoot label. I'm a lover of ANYthing girl groups-related. Thanks for posting.

Later recordings by Motown; and much better than RCA.

They were two completely different groups. THIS RCA group were all from The New York Metro Area. The Motown group, led by Arenita Walker, were ALL from Detroit. There is confusion, because This RCA group sang a song that was bought from New York's Jobete Music office(Motown's New York office-run by Berry Gordy's wife, Raynoma), in 1964. It was even written by her uncle. So, there are Motown and Gordy connections. But, the two groups were completely different people, and singing that one Motown song was this groups only connection to Motown or Detroit. The other group was managed by Detroiter, Harry Balk, and recorded for his Impact Records label before he took them to Motown.
