Didn't he say that they emit 200 lumens of light? That is pretty low quality...maybe OK for a small closet, but not a room like he shows here. I have an Led bulb in my living room with almost 1100 lumen and not good for reading.
@justinhyattlive16582 жыл бұрын
These lights are meant for closets and smaller spaces - not living rooms. Just showing how bright they are in an open space regardless. These lights are battery operated. Im assuming your 1100 lumen is not. Trading brightness/lumens for convenience.

Hi Alan - we use ours everyday, multiple times a day and love them. It's just been an easy and practical way to get convenient light. We use ours in a closet and pantry. To answer your question. When you go to the bathroom, the light will turn on for roughly 20-30 seconds. Enough time for you to possibly get situated and hopefully not long enough to disturb the other person.

I’m still deciding on whether to get the two pack for my bathroom, is it worth it? Did you end up getting one?
@alive-awake3 жыл бұрын
That is a good deal. I just bought 1 at HD for $25. It puts out tremendous amount of light. Mine, you can remove the light sensor and have it work strictly on motion sensing. However, I'm not sure I'm going to keep it. Led lighting is bad for your eyes. I wish it came in regular soft lighting. This really is too bright to suit me, and it's at the end of a dark hall that approaches 2 bedrooms and a bath so I'm constantly walking there to trigger it on. I'll have to see. It may get annoying to have it constantly be going on as I walk its path often.

@justinhyattlive16583 жыл бұрын
Hey Luiz - sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure if you already made a decision yet. I love these lights but I don't think you would be happy with them as your main ceiling lights. They won't stay on as long as I think you would like them too and you would burn through batteries. But these do make great closet/pantry lights. I hope this helps.
@reilea99774 жыл бұрын
That means while sitting still reading a book or newspaper or watching tv, you have to sway your arm or kick a leg or wave something for it to turn back on ....and do this EVERY 20 SECONDS....yeah....NOPE!! I'd rather get the bulbs that allow you to whistle to turn lights on and off....or even the clapper.
@justinhyattlive16583 жыл бұрын
These are closet lights......not reading lights. They’re meant for when you need quick light for a short period of time. Like when you walk in the front door before you reach the light switch. Now you don't have to leave a light on. A closet where you don't have a light already. Or even a pantry. These were never made or designed to be a light that you sit under for constant use. So yes - clap away. 👏

Only 15 minutes of cutting? That wouldn’t be worth it I don’t think.
@justinhyattlive16583 жыл бұрын
If you are cutting big limbs. Probably not. But for quick trimming/pruning of low limbs or branches its worth it. A small branch would take you a few seconds to cut through. If your cutting through a small tree - which this certainly isn't meant for - then yes 15 min would feel like a let down. But you can always get additional batteries to extend your work time.

I bought one on a one day sale at Fry's electronics in northern CA back in April. It was only $159. Works pretty good but my only complaint is the lack of a cigarette lighter plug for my devices that have that plug. The jackery and others have this feature. Its 12 volt output is an odd 5.5 mm plug that is not easy to find. The AC converter works well but the fan is pretty loud at times since its in my RV most of the time. Solar panel charging is pretty easy. Its also has a USB-C outlet which is pretty new to the industry. I would however recommend it. My complaints are not a deal killer especially due to the great price I paid for it.
@justinhyattlive16583 жыл бұрын
Hey Phil - I've picked up the AC to DC adapters in the past. And they're fairly inexpensive. Although a small addition to some. The USB-C for me has certainly been a welcome one. I have yet to try out the solar panel charging but I'm glad its worked well for you.

@justinhyattlive16584 жыл бұрын
Hey Charisse - I have tried it. It's really impressive and shockingly light weight - only 6lbs. Quality build makes it feel worth the price but ultimately the experience/power you get in such a compact form is better than what I've seen on the market. I understand that iDeaPLAY is not exactly a household name compared to say EcoFlow. But if you were price comparing. This iDeaPLAY is 67,500mah at $219 compared to EcoFlow River at 100,000mah but $600 on their website. For the price and for the power I don't think you can beat it. P.S. Sorry for the lengthy reply - hope this helps.
