My sun Joe hedge pole trimmer works better than expected only thing bugging me is the charger, it says not to leave it plugged in as it will continue charging and wreck the battery. I have to find a timer to charge it, could be a hassle. Any suggestions, what do you do?

Do you empty the oil tank when storing to prevent oil leak?

Can anyone answer...I just bought this. It came with an unlabeled bottle of oil. I'm guessing its bar and chain oil?

EQ - That's correct that is the oil for the chain. There is a little resivior for you to put it in.

@@justinhyattlive1658 thankyou for answering. I was guessing it was that's what it was for but didn't want to assume it was and be wrong and screw up the chainsaw. If only the company would label the oil. Next ?...does this chainsaw take a certain bar & chain oil or would a universal kind be okay to use?

@@eqbuffers8011 I used just a universal one and it was perfectly fine. Ive read some articles talking about even using regular Conola oil. www.thetoolyard.com/2019/03/can-i-use-vegetable-oil-for-lubricating.html Hope this helps!

Only 15 minutes of cutting? That wouldn’t be worth it I don’t think.

If you are cutting big limbs. Probably not. But for quick trimming/pruning of low limbs or branches its worth it. A small branch would take you a few seconds to cut through. If your cutting through a small tree - which this certainly isn't meant for - then yes 15 min would feel like a let down. But you can always get additional batteries to extend your work time.

@@justinhyattlive1658 I just bought the ryobi 40v 10” pole saw. I worked for a tad over an hour cutting limbs ranging from an inch to about 6”. Hundreds of limbs were cut on one charge. So for $180 it was worth it. I’m pleased w it
