Jedno szczęście że Cobi praktycznie nie ma licencji filmowych bo nawet samoloty z Top Guna nie są droższe względem innych modeli bo oprócz oznaczeń z filmu niczym się nie różnią. Tylko ten jeden czołg Tiger zrobiony we współpracy z British Tank Museum w jakieś chorej skali, kosztuje dużo. Większość pojazdów wojskowych nadaję się i do zabawy dla dzieci i dla kolekcjonera. Owszem są większe samoloty ale cała linia F-16 spokojnie nadaje się dla dziecka

Man that MagnaGuard fighter makes me feel old. I'll never forget waiting in line with my dad outside of Toys R Us for the midnight release of the first Clone Wars line, and that ship was my prize. My son is 5 and he loves Lego. He can always find a set, but he is also enthralled by the 18+ ones. "It looks cool." I purchased one, the McLaren F1 car. If I am honest, I bought it duty-free on sale in an airport store (not a Lego store). The pricing for all Lego sets is a bit high. On the plus side, my son loves repurposing the bricks and creating his own creations. It is really cool when he takes an idea he learned from one of the many KZbin channels and does it himself.

I think the reason they're selling so many 18+ sets in stores specifically is that people will often travel a pretty long way to go to a lego store, and so it just makes sense to sell the expensive sets there. In other stores that sell lego, this isn't really a problem

There are plenty of City, Ninjago, and Friends sets at lower price points. The City line in particular has rock-solid $10 sets every season. Most of the black-box sets don't appeal to me, but there are more than enough "affordable" sets as well.

I think it's important to remember that the 18+ sets are NOT toys. They're art pieces for serious collectors. They're also the reason why I've started buying Lego sets, 40 years after I last touched a brick as a child. Would I have wanted a set like this back then? You betcha. And it would've been smashed into pieces after a couple of hours. Now I know how much it's worth, and I treat it the same way I would a painting or a nice vase or whatever. 98% of all Lego sets are aimed at kids. Let us old kids have our fun, too! It's an expensive hobby, yes, but the scale and complexity make up for it.

LEGO sets are ridicously overprized and that company will lose most of its customers because of that. Besides the Technic sets are very few to choose from.

I only buy sets with mini figures, however I am one of the few im guessing who bought the R2 just for the Darth Malak 😂. My Darth Revan needed his apprentice, But then again i was 11 when the Kotor games came out.
