한국의 장마철에 이 음악 틀어놓으면 너무 잘 어울림.... 육중하게 떨어지는 빗소리 들으면서

Went to a Karaoke Bar -when I particularly asked for this version (by Japan,I said)- quite funny to watch the DJ expression.

I have watched so much Japan and Mick Karn in the past month or so that I now move my head sideways instead of back and forth, as well. I also raise my arms in praise for his actual bass playing. Stunningly awesome. He is sorely missed.

A truly beautiful song, they don't make them like this no more sadly. A great year it was for music, 1983

Idk why but I vibe with this song. I’m not gay or lgbtq. But I sense a lot of emotions and pain and sadness in the lyrics.

I love the song "Obscure Alternatives"... it's just so beautifully arranged and I love the "crescendo" feeling it has. I honestly prefer Japan's new wave/avant-gard/sperimental side, but their first two albums aren't even normal glam rock style, they're just... JAPAN style, you know? How I wish they had continued to be a band for a few more years...

A masterpiece. And the legendary Ryuichi Sakamoto adding colour on the piano. So much greatness in one piece of music.

The wounds on your hands never seem to heal I thought all I needed was to believe Here am I, a lifetime away from you The blood of Christ, or the beat of my heart My love wears forbidden colours My life believes Senseless years thunder by Millions are willing to give their lives for you Does nothing live on? Learning to cope with feelings aroused in me My hands in the soil, buried inside of myself My love wears forbidden colours My life believes in you once again I`ll go walking in circles While doubting the very ground beneath me Trying to show unquestioning faith in everything Here am I, a lifetime away from you The blood of Christ, or a change of heart My love wears forbidden colours My life believes My love wears forbidden colours My life believes in you once again

13の時にTVで聴いて曲名がわからず今日まで生きてきた。 今日ようやく辿り着き涙に暮れている。 素晴らしい歌ですよね。 we are the worldも良いけどこの歌もチャリティーソングとはとても思えないくらい 深い気持ちが込められていますね。

Mick Karn on keyboards, in addition to his bass and saxophone skills. What an amazing and versatile talent!
