Get a 420 assassin. I take game from 60+ yards with ease. As loud as the bow is, the deer can’t drop fast enough.😁

Can't say that it does. It's never been an issue I've noticed and as you'll see, in future videos, I am very nervous if the triggers feel funny. Take to dealer and compare with theirs?

You do have to keep an eye on them, I did change them early on because they were getting premature wear on the cams but since then I really haven't had an issue.

The deer movement shut down the second weekend because of the full moon. Had good movement thru the 12th. which I was fortunate enough to harvest my target buck with my new Vital X- 430 but it was like a switch went on Friday the13th. and the deer movement shut down.

I think you should hunt with whatever you wanna hunt with whatever you’re comfortable to hunt with and get you out in the woods who gives a hoot just get out in the woods and have a good time and be ethical that’s all 😀

I hope not! (to the rangefinding scopes being the normal near-future). I'm just a fuddy duddy who gets irritated every time Ravin and others compare their equipment to "rifles", and irritated that each new model release is just chasing more speed (500fps+ is ridiculous - this is ARCHERY!). To say you just lock in your range like a missile, is the same mindset that will send androids or armed drones into the woods to do our hunting for us. Let's stick to hunting rather than push to take all the hunting out of it. There's meat at the store already that is brought to you by nearly total automation. You just might be wishing away your hunting future. Honestly a lot of publicly perceptive damage has already been done by Ravin's ignorant and irresponsible "rifle" ad campaign, which is why I hate that brand. Hunting is a manual application of physical and mental skill. Leave the computers at home. And leave the "rifle" and military artillery at home when crossbow hunting.

Smart move getting another swat rich! It really does seem like crossbow perfection! And ignore all the haters don’t even respond to them! Hunting a feeder is no different than hunting a corn field or acorns on public land, people are seriously just jealous you can hunt a feeder and they can’t! I’m a public land hunter so I can’t use a feeder in ohio but I hunt acorns and it’s genuinely the exact same thing as a feeder but you have more control of where they eat lol that’s the only difference it’s not cheating or any different it’s just giving you a more ethical shot and nothings wrong with that! I just got my public land doe Sunday here in NE ohio! Goodluck all this season

If it’s any consolation I was watching this at the end of a morning sit and 3 big does came in. They got to 30 yards and needed 5 more feet to be in the clear. Someone 200 yards away started up a truck and my morning was finished.

Hey, Pensacola, Florida here. I seen Van Hagar in the mid 90s. Great concert !! I got to see the late great Eddie Van Halen. i’m new to the whole crossbow game. In Florida you can use a crossbow with a medical permit. I’ve been hunting with a bow since I was eight. I had my eye on the assassin, micro 400. What do you think about it?

I think you're getting older Rich. Kind of like the rest of us. Lol. No denying, the guy struck a cord. I don't like hunting over bait anymore, now. Used to. I was really pissed off, they took it away from us. And yes, I cheated, here and there. Not a lot, but I did. But I also have to admit, no baiting, has made me a much better Hunter. I've been forced to think about things I never thought about before. And now, I get upset with myself, for not realizing all the things I know now. (regarding hunting I mean). (Yes, I realize you could probably bury me on a whole bunch of stuff with that, but I did say, hunting, lol). And I do, now, believe we'd all be better hunters, without the bait. But, still legal in certain areas/states. Michael feels strongly about his bating convictions. Nothing wrong with that. I don't care for baiting much anymore either. And I've seen it from both sides of the fence. And enjoyed both sides of the fence. But, to each their own. Your site is about crossbow hunting, and the evolution, or continued progression of crossbow hunting. Which if you really think about it, the process/categories could be endless. You can stay old school, slower crossbows, stay closer/shoot closer, or go All high tech, with the latest, greatest, crossbows, scopes, bolts, lighted knocks and all the other goodies, and take the longer shots. That's all part of your giddy up, with pushing / staying all crossbow related hunting, Right? Michael's just not into baiting, prefers more traditional methods. Nothing wrong with that!😮😅😊. Chill out my friend. Slow down the getting old thing. Lolol. Just busting your chops, sort of.😂😂 I think everybody will be in a better mood, once Trump wins! Hang in there buddy, we all get old and grumpy.😅😊

There is no guarantees using a feeder that’s for sure. And I’m pretty sure most hunters are using bait,if they put it there or Mother Nature did. I’m sure these guys that don’t like it use bait when they go fishing 😂. That’s not fishing that catching 😂.

Just got mine in today ……🤨crank cap - the part the handle snaps into fell off first time cocking and decocking ….tried tightening the set screw with no luck it keeps unscrewing ….its also very hard to crank once the trigger mechanism gets past the scope rail ….the first 12” cocking is very easy like it should be ..I think that cap or whatever it’s called tightens down too much with the set screw not holding it in position on the threads and it feels like it’s gonna break something inside the crank….i plan on shooting 550 gr arrows out of mine as well if we ever get it working

My in-laws used to live in Texas and the deer are very used to feeders there, but so are the wild boar and javelina. , I bet if you left z trail camera over one of those feeders you would see coon on them every night once they find them. Going back for Sika maybe ?

Love the channel shoot what you want and shootem how ever you can,i use to buy all the scent cover stuff as well but recently i started smoking my clothes in my old ice shanty and have had the deer all round and they didnt no nothing and it don't cost me no $$$ to smoke my clothes ,more gooder??
