Beautifully made video. The qoute that sticks out the most is, "the deeper you look, the more negative things are, and I'm tired of looking for answers for things that don't have any answers." Often people are always searching for the negatives in their life, and don't get to see the moment.

You are absolutely fuckin right on this one…we need film makers or people who are planning to take a new film to think differently something like from scratch and built on the same People see this as a business that one of the main reason why we don’t get good content i guess Film is an art
@ThunderToast9725 күн бұрын
Nah. Like, I get what you are saying, most modern blockbusters and sequels feel fairly soulless, yet, overall, I still think that the artistic expression through film is still going strong. I make an effort to go to the movie theater at least once or twice a month spending the whole day watching movies back to back. This method of watching multiple different movies in one sitting has given me greater perspective into what was actually a “good” movie, and what was “slop”. For every lazy, boring and uninspired movie that I watch each month, another movie is emotionally resonate, fun and fresh feeling. So, while the movies that get most of the marketing have usually been the “slop” ones, there are still plenty of those Hollywood movies that I felt better for going to see it. Films, like all other medias, can offer us much more than just entertainment, EVEN IF they were primarily intended for just that. There are many people behind every movie, and even if the main plot or craftsmanship is lacking, there might be a few worth while elements in there for those that are willing to look deeper than the surface. Let’s take Madam Web for example. Was most of the writing stiff, the plot convoluted, and cinematography not very impressive? Yeah. However, I actually really liked most all of the characters, even if they were a little half baked, and the theme of mothership and being a family not by blood but instead by choice was powerful, and yes, some of the costume designs and the fashion wardrobe of the movie was actually quite enjoyable imo. All of that’s to say that, while many movies might not be as impressive and well made as the movies of old and are often driven more by profit rather than passion, there are still often worthwhile aspects in many modern movies because of the people making the movie. Plus, if you’re willing to seek them out, there are genuinely some incredible movies that have come out recently that just don’t get as much attention as the “big movies” these days.
@wyattslaughter25 күн бұрын
Hey bro listen, I agree with you, I know what goes into making a movie, and I know there are people devoting their life to these things that come off as soul lacking in the theaters, maybe I left that out, but that’s apart of the problem, people giving their life to something and often working harder then some who are above them, all for a film to amount to nothing that hasn’t been done before. I understand what your saying though, and there are many amazing movies man, there’s definitely more I like then I don’t like, I’m more so calling out hollywood for the state that it’s in, which is undeniable in my opinion, but thank you bro I hear you.

Him and David Foster Wallace both have a similar way of being both intense and laid back at the same time. They're like a pencil's end point that's being pushed too hard constantly and should've broke by now, but yet it keeps on, drawing out some beautiful poetry from it's core.

That Breakfast Time segment is off the charts. I can't imagine having a serious conversation about music with a puppet hanging over my shoulder interpreting me (or interjecting). Beautiful version of "Clementine" though. That song is in CGCEAD tuning, hard to play (much less compose). He is missed every single day.

omg, that fx interview, so cringe - I can't believe what he must have been feeling and how he actually held it together and was still charming in his unique ES way. Also, the look of astonishment is evident on a few of those in the room who are taking it in - something I bet they never forget.

Back before money and a need to get money choked our lives, we just had each other and the world around us. Some places needed help from other communities, so we made deals, and eventually, we made war over those resources. What we deem to be important will drive how we desire to treat others and treat ourselves. Things *can* happen for a reason, it’s whether we heed those signs that allows for The Path to be walked. What we choose to do with those signs will put us on different paths, but The Path is still always there, paved and ready for you to walk it. Some people don’t have to think about what they do or who they are when their essential needs are being met. Those people can focus on love and life, while others have to fight for their right to survive. Will you able to be yourself fully if you constantly have to be someone else to stay afloat? Will you be willing to lend a hand to those that have to fight? Will you help them to fight no more? Will you help others to love? Or… Will you have to continue fighting to make it to tomorrow? All of this is dependent on where you are and how you are left off. The Path is a beautiful and loving path. Sometimes you have to push yourself and fight for others, but it’s such an incredible view at the end, isn’t it?
