Having the catch can might have also free'd up the PCV valve and let some oil get blown out of it. There are some nice high flow ones you can add too...On that coil , I wonder if there is an MSD coil we can swap in. We used the MSD coils on the daihatsu rocky and got alot of better driveability. Just a little better spark makes a huge difference in the turbo cars. Could even do a custom made MSD wire set for the mini Check out this video where they gained HP by cooling the IC kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXW1amxoot6crM0 Makes me wonder if you drop the under hood temps just a little , might run better The Mitsubishi Delica actually has a fan under the intercooler. For turbo noise , you can easily do a 3 inch diameter turbo inlet (ditch the rubber accordion) , just need the couplers and ports for the bypass and valve cover breather. For some easy power look at ditching the the clutch fan for electric , and getting the flywheel lightened. Looking forward to seeing where you take the PJ mini! Thanks !

I’ve got a 98 Pajero mini H56a and I’ve been wanting to take mine on the GA Traverse trail but I’ve been hesitant because I wasn’t sure how much abuse it could really take. After seeing what you’ve been able to do with yours I’m definitely taking it. Great video series. Hope you continue making content with it.

Is there any way you could show how the skid plate attaches to the body? Mine is missing and i want to make a new one, but I'm not 100% on how it attaches.. Loved the videos!

I was planning to buy my first entry level 4x4 and confused between mini pajero and suzuki samurai, I know suzuki samurai is better off roader but mini pajero was complete package, when you bought this mini pajero I was looking for my pajero as well then started following you each day, wait for the new video watch while video without skipping a second and each day I was more convinced that I made a right decision, while you were road triping it enjoying it offroad I was imagining myself, keep making those videos I love them. Thank you for creating this series.

It's very possible that bad non firing cylinder from that bad ignition coil could have caused a higher crankcase pressure and causing oil blowby. Either or like you said....just keep an eye on it. Is the BOV recirculating back into the intake? Loved the series dude...it was fun to watch.

So awesome to see the Mini holding up. Wondering if the highway cruising would be better on stock wheels without that offset (increasing the scrub radius) , then an aftermarket cruise control, maybe some better shock's and urethane bushings on the sway bar? Got me thinking on this. Port the turbo , have a 2.5 or 3 inch diameter downpipe made , add electric fan over the clutch fan , have the 5 speed flywheel lightened at a machine shop ...probably pick up only 5-8 horsepower, but in the mini that is ALOT Thanks for the great pajero test!

Getting closer to home! Whew.. My 92 Prizm (rebadged Toyota Sprinter AE 90) with tiny 1.6 engine can easily to 80 MPH over here in west TX. I remember the car shakes every time a semi passes at or near 75 MPH on undivided highways between Reno and Las Vegas NV. I installed both front and rear sway bars from a Corolla wagon (bots right on) and the sway disappeared 100% and is steady 100%. I love my 92 Prizm/Sprinter!

Great video, thanks for that! I ended up doing the job with zero special tools, which worked out quite well. I've done this for the first time on a 6g75 and it took about 7hrs all up. Tackling spark plug change next in order to get to the bottom of a low revv cut-out symptom under load when the engine is warm. Keep up your good work!

I've never driven on sand dunes. If you have lockers, do you engage them or just use 4wd? When you pulled into the garage, you get to contrast how small it is compared to your other Monteros/Raiders. Wow!
