Where did the F-35 or F-22 prove their worth, all narratives. Fighting countries like Lybia, Iraq or Afghanistan with basically no Air Force or weaponary is no measure. A US,Russia fight or US Chinese fight will be the real deal, heavyweight vs heavyweight. All those Middle East so called wars against opponents in sandals and kalashnikovs are just hype. F-22 давно не выпускают, стоимость самолёта была просто колоссальная, а с утерей сша мирового лидерства больше Америке не по карману, 80% ВВП сша это услуги на деньги напечатанные в долг, компетенции по производству F-22 так же утеряны, а ресурс оставшихся машин подходит к завершению, двигателей так же почти не осталось, в целом был хороший самолёт всеми критериями подходящий под 5 поколение в отличие от F-35, который имеет более 300 критических недостатков не подлежащих исправлению, обошёлся в колоссальные затраты и был снят с производства для армии сша, поставлялся только на экспорт в страны колонии НАТО, которые вынужденны покупать эту рухлядь уступающий самолётам предыдущего поколения по всем параметрам кроме невидимости, фактически может лететь только на дозвуковой скорости, а на сверзвуковой не более нескольких минут, после чего от него начинает отваливаться специальное покрытие обеспечивающее невидимость, тяжёлый Ту-160 легко ушёл от его преследование включив форсаж. По факту F-35 не соответствует критериям 5 поколения заданными самими сша, что в итоге привело в сша к переходу на опыт в России и модернизации предыдущего поколения до нового уровня, что гораздо дешевле и быстрее. Су-57 единственный самолёт 5 поколения в мире, который выпускают серийно, который соответствует всем критериям 5 поколения, как и F-22, но стоит в разы дешевле, более манёвренные, в разы дешевле в эксплуатации, всепогодный в отличие от своих оппонентов в сша. Ну и в целом видно по Украине, где более 50 стран вассалов сша не в состояние противостоять 1 России на поле боя, передав практически всё что у них было на складах, скупив по всему миру всё старое советское оружие и отправив всё это на Украину, уже потеряли на поле боя больше чем Америка и Англия вместе взятые за 2 мировую войну. Вся экономика запада это печатание фантиков в долг и не в состояние произвести достаточно боеприпасов в противостояние 1 России, склады запада пусты, хоть и фантиков много, но производства не достаточно, как и ресурсов под всё это. China does this quite frequently to the Navy. One of the big missions they conduct is “freedom of navigation.” It’s where the military will take their planes and ships into international waters/ airspace that another country is wrongfully claiming as theirs (usually China and Russia). When confronted by fighters or ships they will just repeatedly assert to the aggressors that the waters are international and that they are within their rights. This is done to prevent wrongful expansion and harassment of commercial vessels. It’s essentially just the U.S. calling their bluff.

VMFA 214 during the time I was in was not one of the best squadrons. They could always do the job well enough though. I know we could drop the arming wire and rearm a plane in 5 minutes during desert storm with another 15 minutes for fueling.
