Not sure why the quality was so slow even though I set it as 1080p. Eh, I guess it suits it, cause it feels like I'm watching an OVA from like the 2000s, and that's the time when the production began with FF13 Versus and all. Also, I'm glad to see that there was some content later on in 2019. I was getting kind of sad cause it felt like everything for FFXV happened in 2016/17 and was abadoned that that same year. Also seems like most of the hateful fans are gone by 2019, so I feels nice as someone who loves FFXV, don't get me wrong, I still have criticisms, but the ridicolous amount of hate was too much.

It's ridiculous I have to watch animes, a movie, trailers and play a sloppy 2D game to have even the slightest clue what the story is in a multi-million dollar AAA game. No wonder Square stocks are plummeting with mediocre games like this. Final Fantasy XV is an open world game made by people who've never played an open world game. Nothing has improved much in the 9 years since!

Everytime I see FFXV, my heart aches a little. So pissed they left us with a book for the "real ending". Xv was my very first FF game on my new ps4 that my dad bought for me as a gift. It will always have a special place in my heart.

Dub version was better

I thought I recognised Gladio's voice actor, and after a searching for a bit, turns out it's the same voice actor as All Might from My Hero Academia! Amazing

Looking back at this anime and after playing the game, I always thought ignis and gladius were at least 5-6 years older than noctis but them being just 2-3 years older baffles me. They always seemed mature and capable beyond their years.

Its kind of mess up a modder made a mod to take this song out of the game.... not many peopel downloaded it which is funny cause this song was probably my favorite scene in the game.I also wished i could had played this song whoel drivign teh regelia.

man this made me tear up, just Noctis is so genuine and selfless. I love how we also just see in the actual game how they all know Noctis' real heart of gold even if he comes across as aloof and downcast, and this series reflects that shared history. like when we first meet Iris in game, it's all the more powerful with this context behind it of their childhood memories. great writing

I'm just starting the game but watching this trailer gives me chills. absolutely breathtaking. I kinda love how different the tone is between Kingsglaive the film and the starting of the game but narrative-wise it does make sense considering where the characters are at and Regis wanted Noctis away from Insomnia before the invasion. Noctis is more on a chill road trip at the start while the political tensions in the kingdom are coming to a boiling point. I absolutely love this world, I understand why people criticize the detached form of storytelling in the game itself but I feel you just have to wholly embrace the multimedia aspect of this iteration and it is worth it. Watching Kingsglaive before the game felt really important to have context of the stakes involved while Noctis is on his own journey, plus we got to see way more of Lunafreya there. This trailer also being a literal Omen of an alternate path if Noctis went alone is also pretty brilliant. Once you play the game, it enhances it. Kinda reminds me of the reveal trailer of The Last of Us 2. Yes, that was chill-inducing as a standalone watch but coming back to it after finishing the game just adds even more layers and emotional depth. I love well-thought marketing like that which enhances the art.

Noctis is honestly so kind he just pretends he doesn't care about stuff and likes to tease his friends with sass. Prompto's total lack of self esteem (which you still see in the game later) just makes me wanna hug him and tell him that he is more than enough.
