Hurricane Blast? If you finish the Black Fungus off with a Critical Hit then they will drop prizes. You can guarantee a critical hit with the Wishing Star Keyblade (the one you get from Gepetto's House in Traverse Town after you defeat the Parasite Cage 2 in Monstro. Only a finisher can be a critical hit, the other hits will always be normal, unless you have a modifier ability like Slapshot, which can also be a Critical Hit. to my knowledge, Hurricane Blast is never a Critical Hit as it replaces your finisher with 3 Normal Hits (but I could be wrong about that). I hope I was able to help.

No problem. I'll be trying to make more KH3 content in the near future as I have a project I wanted to cover relating to it... If nothing else I need to get some footage from that game. A full Challenge run would be fun in KH3, especially with the Pro Codes. I imagine there will be a lot of Fire/Water Spamming... I'll probably have to turn off the Disney Attractions as they are OP. I imagine it will be something like: KH3, LV1, No Abilities, No Party Abilities for Donald/Goofy, Worst Keyblade... With Magic, Shotlocks, Keyblade transformations allowed. Thanks, Phoenix. The Scoring System is always going to be imperfect... nobody is going to account for all different playstyles. The whole idea behind it was to try to balance the strengths of the Keyblade (once it's in your hands) vs how hard/worth it it is to get -One Winged Angel Intensifies- and how late you get it to determine a final... Better than (<) score... Because this game doesn't have a new game plus there are certain Keyblades that are just not worth getting as you can only use them on 2 or 3 bosses, vs a weapon like the Kingdom Key which gets a lot of points for being able to be used on every boss in the game... but obviously it isn't the best weapon as it is designed to be quickly replaced. I could in theory go in depth a bit more and give the Kingdom Key more points than Jungle King as it is available earlier... but it would require a lot more analysis and screenspace for the table. I added a few additional lists at the end of the video to accommodate a no magic playstyle, or one that doesn't penalise when you get the weapon. The No Magic list is at: 36:30 The No Bonuses/Penalties list is at: 38:30 I'm aware that not every player values Magic... thus a weapon like Meal Chocobo or Divine Rose would be a lot more useful, while Diamond Dust would be a gimmick weapon at best... I used this playstyle at one point so I made a brief second list to accommodate this (Which BTW makes Metal Chocobo the 3rd Best Weapon in the Game.). 2nd List: 3rd Place) Metal Chocobo 2nd Place) Divine Rose 1st Place) Ultima Weapon As well... giving Keyblades Bonuses and Penalties for Difficulty and Time Of Collection is not important to everyone, some people only care about the weapon itself and not the trouble they had to go through to get it, so I created the third list as a brief spotlight on those Keyblades... 3rd Place) Lionheart 2nd Place) Diamond Dust 1st Place) Ultima Weapon Thanks for watching, man. @therealsilverking4802 the video was great and I'm not intending to be critical. This comment was the classic: post comment at end of rules and not at end of video situation. I like how you factor in mp, reach, and deflection. Its just always been a pet peeve of mine when tier lists, especially in games like fire emblem or pokemon, put more emphasis on availability than viability. I like to think that tier lists should reflect what option is most viable provided amongst all your available optionz. Whether you get milage out of it is a different story and can be used as tie breakers. That's just my opinion though.

@@phoenixgemini42 Thanks, Phoenix. I'm not taking offence, I just have a tendency to splurge a bit when I write comments, I go off on tangents a bit and just write walls of text. The other Keyblade videos I found which inspired this one seemed to be Opinion based or based on Aesthetics rather than Utility, so I made the ranking system to add a bit more objectivity to it, so as not to add yet another Baseless Tier List that fails to actually Rank anything. I'm not familiar with Fire Emblem, but Pokemon I think have Smogon Tiers, so I think they've already been thoroughly ranked with little margin for error. I had a Boss Tier List in mind which has resulted in an extremely convoluted ranking system, which I have no clue how to display in video format... but I have the final scores ready for all KH1 Bosses.

Yeah, man. I get ya. It's just a neat trick that less skilled players can do if they are having trouble... or a funny scene for the more skilled players who like to clown on Riku's AI. It's also one of the few reasons to equip Metal Chocobo as it is probably the longest weapon in Sora's Arsenal at this point in the game

Sure, I'll see if I can help. Is there any part in particular you're struggling with. All of her Hovering Areal moves (the attacks where she jumps up and hovers in place... which are the Doughnut Shot, Doughnut Barrage, Blinding Flash and Flying Mace Slam. I think it also works on the Lava Rain attack)... can all be turned off by using Spartan Rage. If your Spartan Rage is running low, you can use the Talisman Of Eternal Fury (which you can buy from Brok and Sindri's shop). This Talisman can be used to restore your Rage in a few seconds and also provides a passive buff to Kratos which makes him generate Rage faster while attacking. Spartan Rage will stagger: a) When you turn it on b) When you turn it off You can use it on the above Hovering Areal Moves, The Wingshield... a lot of her ground animations with the scythe. The Flying scythe attack can just be blocked as Kratos will recover faster than Sigrun will, so it can be punished easily. ALWAYS DODGE RIGHT! Most of her attack can be safely dodged to the right, but she has a lot of moves that will punish you for dodging left... so a big tip is to always default to dodging RIGHT! You can punish her when she performs the Mace Smash (The 2 hit Shining Mace attack) by dodging the initial shockwave backwards and strafing the 2nd mace hit to the right... which will leave her open. The Icicle Barrage can be blocked for 4 seconds, then on the 5th second you will have to dodge roll the giant icicle. Anything else you need, feel free to ask. I'll try to help you out to the best of my knowledge.

Yeah. Balder 1 can be cheesed easily. Magni and Modi are not all that challenging honestly. Trolls and ogres are about as tough as Magni and Modi. Balder 2 is harder than Gunnr though

Does it? This might explain why Speedrunners of the Japanese game don't use the glitch. I've never seen a Japanese Version Speedrunner use the Text Bug in Wonderland to save time either... it must be some kind of quirk with the English Version. Maybe the Text bugs have to do with different room states pre and post dialogue... The Queen's Courtyard transforms into a Boss Arena and Phil's room in Olympus changes between the Barrel Minigame Portal and the Cups/Games Portal.

Yeah nobody knows why it doesn't work on JP. Text in JP also moves faster compared to English due to language differences so the text bug is slower on that version. Text bugs also cause full on softlocks if you aren't fast enough at progressing through each Text box also.

The Spartan Rage Trick is one that I discovered (As far as I know anyway) so I doubt many others would know about it and the Boar Stampeed Glitch has been patched out of the game in more recent updates (which is why I play the Unpatched version... the Boar Stampeed Glitch is really useful in the Muspheleim Trials as the Basic Mob Enemies don't seem to register that they are there, so you can use them like a shield). I'm unsure about newer patches but in the older patches you could power level all of your stats by abusing the autosave mechanic... it just makes farming for runic levels a lot easier.

No problem. These types of grinds can be a massive hassle. I got to about Level 45 using this, and it is painfully slow... A lot of players will prioritise getting Slide Dash to make this particular loop going easier, but a strat like this can definitely save a lot of time until then. I'm glad I could entertain.

Atreus's Arrows only work like that on lower difficulties. On GMGOW the Valkyries are not staggered by his arrows, which is why I had to resort to the Spartan Rage trick for this particular run. But yeah, on lower difficulties your strategy is definitely preferable as it saves on Rage, I couldn't cover it in this video, but it's definitely a better strat for a Platinum Trophy/100% run or Speedrun Any% (As none of these things care about the Game Mode). I also came across problems with the Shield Bash, which is why I recommend using Spartan rage to break through the Wingshield move, even though most players could just Shield Bash for the same effect. For some reason my controller will sometimes register Shieldbash as me raising the shield twice.

The reason they may be blown away by it might be because it was absent in KH2, BBS, DDD, 0.2, 358/2 Days, Re:COM, and Re:Coded.... (wow, it's a good thing we're Kingdom Hearts players because that list I just typed out is complete gibberish to 95% of the planet).... Or at least I think it was absent in those games, there were a lot of 2D areas outside of Kingdom Hearts 1. It's also a bit memeable in the first game because Sora's leg shrinks to half its normal size just to fit on some stairs.

I'd definitely recommend completing the rest of the game first and fully upgrading the Frost Axe and Blades Of Chaos. I had one upgrade missing for the Frost Axe in this video but it just helps if you have it. By infinite Realm, do you mean Niffelheim (the misty place). Or are you talking about Musphelheim (the Lava World). If you want to upgrade the Blades Of Chaos there is a glitch you can exploit in Helheim during the story mode, but I don't know if it's been patched yet. The glitch allows you to duplicate the Chaos Flame from the Guardian Troll on the Helheim Bridge which allows you to get the Blades Of Chaos to Max level early. I'm playing on an older patch of the game here so I don't have access to many tools that may help you out, such as the Armour of Zeus, which I believe is available in New Game Plus. I completed the game with max everything I have her on the story difficulty and had her at 15% health. I think Riku is Level 50 here. Yeah, this boss is obnoxiously difficult for a story boss. You're not alone in finding him difficult... I had so much trouble with him as a kid during my first playthroughs... and it is only in recent years that I've been able to methodically defeat him. It was especially demoralizing that the cutscenes used to be unskippable, which meant that we used to have to watch his 2.5 minute monologue every time we lost. That speech is still living rent free in my head 20 years later. If you are on proud mode you may have greater success by equipping EXP 0, which will scale up your damage. Metal Chocobo is one of the best Keyblades for attacking him if you have the ability "Counterguard"... this will allow you to spam X for most of the fight. Fire magic can be used to kite him into a specific moveset that can be easily exploited... He can be taken down very quickly with correct timing of Ars Arcanum/Sonic Blade/Strike Raid alongside abilities like Leaf Bracer (Which you get at level 39 if you chose the Rod at the start of the game). What endlessly, or does she just do it 3-5 times? I've never known her to just keep going until she hit's you... maybe it's a bug of some kind. It is possible to use Spartan Rage to tank the damage, combined with Kratos having enough health to survive a few stomps, it's possible to outlast her... But if you're having that particular problem I'm not sure how to go in depth to help you there, sorry man.

I haven't fought Gna yet, hopefully I will get the chance soon as I'm going to borrow the game from a family member. From what I've seen online though, Gna does seem a lot less challenging than Sigrun.

I've always kinda wondered how -Death- Annihilation works in Kingdom Hearts. In KH4 it seems that Donald and Goofy are going to Hades to try to find Sora, assuming that he's even dead to begin with. But Mufassa appears in the Lion King Afterlife, in the clouds, Sora went to the final world after his death, Sora, Donald and Goofy all fell off the Worlds End at Port royal and ended up in Davy Jones Locker, Scar just becomes a Heartless instead of Dying (just like Clayton), Malificent just turns into a coat and revives herself whenever someone remembers her (Malificent also revives Oogie Boogie from the Dead in KH2), Halloweentown is full of Ghosts from various creatures that have died (Zero as an example), Chernabog could control the evil-undead (at least he could in the source material)... The strange thing is that Sora dies in Port Royal and goes to Davy Jones Locker, then he dies to the Demon Tide and goes to the Final World. Jafar though, I think it's believable that he was limited. He spent the whole Return Of Jafar movie trying to get someone to free him, but he couldn't actually access the full extent of his unlimited powers until he did... and even then, Genie never showed much power after being freed (in the movies). If Iago used the Lamp though, I could see him and Jafar coming up with some crazy scheme. Genie Jafar was also defeated Twice by Sora... thus showing that the Keyblade might actually be stronger than the Genies of Agrabah. They may have been a force to be reckoned with though.

That's actually a good point. I never considered that the Heartless might actually be guests in the Hotel... it definitely explains why the manager doesn't seem to mind them being there. (Are you talking about the Wizard Heartless when you say Black Mage... I'll have to give that another look, thanks for the message).

It seems like the Traverse Town Hotel is designed to accommodate travellers from many worlds. The Red Room seems like it is designed for the people of Land Of Dragons, which would explain why Mushu's Tapestry is on the Headboard of the bed. I'm not sure who the Green room was designed for... maybe Pranksters Paradise "Which might explain the clock Gimmick". The Water room (I guess it must be the Blue Room) was probably for Aquatic Guests, which is why you couldn't go in there in game... because it was flooded with water.

I always assumed that it was just programming limitations or time constraints at the time. so I just used the bottom arrows as being north an south while the top ones are west and east. Tarzan's parents would've just marked out which direction was north so they could eventually get back home. As for the direction being north, I used the backdrop... the ocean appears to be on the left, and since this is central Africa on the extreme left by the equator where Gorillas live, that places the treehouse somewhere near the coast on the left of Africa... maybe near to Gabon... which explains why the ocean is also sew miles to the south as well. Although I'm not sure... its possible that it's blowing West instead... but its too late for me to change it if I got it wrong.

I know that the coastline can be seen in Deep Jungle from the top of the Treehouse, which implies that it may be situated in Gabon in Africa (In the section of the continent where Wild Gorillas are found)... The Devs really did their homework. It's possible that some of the globes are relics of a time when the worlds were connected, or they are based on knowledge from that era. Certain worlds are based in the same country, so I know that the same country can exist in multiple worlds... La Cite De Cloches and Beast's Castle are both set in France... Jane from Tarzan is English from the late 1800's while Neverland's Clock Tower appears to be based on London from around the 1940's. The Pride Lands should also be set in Africa somewhere but are in a different world to the residents of Deep Jungle. Maybe the incomplete globes are to represent the difference that specific world has from our regular Earth. Africa but with a fictional location where Lions have a kingdom. France, but with a fictional town with Beast's Castle. While large chunks of the rest of the world are missing.

I agree that it's pretty redundant once you get hold of Lady Luck, but for the midgame it is a pretty good MP based Keyblade, just in case you wanted to get a bit of extra damage with Gravity or Stop, or if you wanted to increase the power of certain summons, Like Bambi or Simba. In terms of Stats though, it quickly gets outclassed... on this list it got a high spot because Magic is just that Good in this game. In terms of overall usefulness I'd say One-Winged Angel is the worst, but The Kingdom Key is surprisingly weak in this game.

Yeah... I think I was level 70 in that fight too... I guess the developers didn't want you using Limit Spam on him as they've properly lowered the damage since the Bosses in the original game. Sephiroth takes reasonable damage from Strike Raid though. Although to be fair I was at LV 100 in the Sephiroth Fight in this video.

Hi, anabella. sorry for the confusion, The Dalmatians have some locations on their bodies where the spots form a hidden Mickey... 3 circles in a mickey face pattern. There are quite a lot of other places in the game where hidden mickey's are present too. They're called Lucky Emblems in Kingdom Hearts 3.

I know right... I rarely see anyone online who does this. Although the other computer on the other side of the arena is probably a better place to stand (nearer to the Keyhole). I've created a part 2 to this video which goes over this boss in more detail and shows 7 easy ways to defeat him. You can just use Fire, and when he catches it and throws it back as a Dark Firaga you can block it and it counts towards his 4 Hit routine... which allows you to loop him between Dark Firaga, Zantetsuken Slide and Guarding (which can be exploited easily for Ars Arcanum).
