Yes there are 18 rebar and around 90 x 300mm screws holding mine together but in hindsight I wish I'd built it out of blocks, there's not much difference in price either my upright ones will have a life expectancy of 7-10 years flat they would have 10-15 years but block built is forever so for that little bit extra money you then have peace of mind for life 👍

@Trinitybluetwo it all depends on your filtration I have 25 koi in 2600 gallons so I guess 10 would be my maximum for your size pond but if you have a super filtration system maybe a couple more 😉

Yeh 9 will be fine unless they all grow above 60cm then you may struggle but less water changes will make them grow slower 😉

Very good question 👍 the reason people say it can be dangerous is 2 reasons parasites are still active above 8c but I don't have parasites on my fish so that's fine the second reason people say its dangerous is the bacteria in your filters doesn't thrive below 14c so if still feeding you just have to keep your eyes on the parameters which I 👍 but my pond and fish are very very healthy so a stable temperature at what ever temp is a better option than swinging temps as young fish can't handle temp swings at lower temps.
