As a manga reader it is supposed to be a gigantic Shockwave with black lightning but here it shows explosions and black lightning.

You guys are the first people I've seen reacting to this episode who immediately got that he blew his heart up. In the manga they had a much more in-depth explanation of what happened; he had his quirk awakening and basically the nitroglycerin was flooding his blood vessels, that last impact was too much for his heart to take. (This is not spoilers, the anime just didn't do a great job portraying what happened in that moment)

The art style is so good. I liked episode 3 because there were so many beautiful scenes. The way it transitions from one scene to another is awesome and so creative.

the wound made the nitroglycerin to run into his heart and his own quirk made his heart explode. shigaraki probably did cause a fatal wound but bakugo killed himself with his own quirk thats what caused the explosion. Due to her idolization towards him, she embraced piracy by becoming the captain of the Night Butterfly Pirates and one of his subordinates. Her personal motto is "I will follow Shanks ♡" and she's also said to be a dangerous arsonist, implying that she might have a mentally unstable side. Shanks is really there inspiring kids across the world. - Shanks' sword is called "Gryphon" (revealed in his Vivre Card) which is another name for Griffin and the reason why we got an illustration before the attack.
