@@tacticalappalachian4259 here let me try again. I love the idea of it and edc medical is a great thing but that tq hasnt been tested by any one other then the people who made it. it not C.O.T.C.C.C recommended. and its only an inch wide a standard C.A.T tq is 1.5 in wide and theres a reason for that. for a tq to be effective it has to provide tamponade over a wide area thats why the swat tq is effective with out a windlass and why you cant make a tq out of paracord and the fact that its only 1 in thick means it will hurt ALOT to have it on/applied. people already try to remove C.A.T tq's do to the pain so i can only imagine how bad people would want that off. So to sum things up given my expert opinion i would not recommend this tq but i would recommend the S.O.F tq it is tested and recommended by cotccc and it folds very flat for easy edc if you want a link here you go tacmedsolutions.com/products/sof-tourniquet?variant=40626596544711

I have one and really enjoy it. The sides of the pliers have female threaded holes where you can screw in cleaning rods or whatever and the MUT will act as a handle. One side of the pliers can be accessed while the MUT is closed. Very clever and innovative on Leathermans part.

I EDC the Skeletool. Wingman was great before then but there were too many parts I never used on it...the Skeletool is just perfect. Pliers, screwdriver and knife. That's all I need. Maaaaaaybe the punch would've come in handy that one time I needed a rigid wire or something to push out an object through a tiny hole. The rest of the stuff is just way too gimmicky. Why on earth would you need a carbon scraper out in the field? Do it properly before/after...I mean not even on a 3gun/PCC international competition do they shoot enough to warrant the use of it there and then, just do it when you get home.
@tacticalappalachian4259Ай бұрын
Different strokes for different folks for sure… just used the carbon scraper twice last week on a bore vac for a howitzer barrel.
@YouTuber-mc2elАй бұрын
The tool is geared toward the AR rifle platform. Punch for quick disassembly bronze scraper for carbon buildup removal when cleaning and female threaded holes in plier sides for cleaning rod attachment.

@tacticalappalachian42599 ай бұрын
Not super awesome, which is why I’ve actually moved away from these since. The singular molle panel on the stackable model that runs up the middle of the pouch does add some rigidity and makes it a little better than the standard ten speed pouches but if redindexing is of importance and concern in your case then I would certainly recommend other options.

@tacticalappalachian4259 Жыл бұрын
Well, you would have to cut them so in a way I’d say yes. If you’re not for the permanent alteration approach then not really.
@richkestrel74169 ай бұрын
@@tacticalappalachian4259 , actually the buckles (SwiftClips) _are_ removable. They have a split in the plastic that is inside the flat loops. I wanted to remove them you'd just work the SwiftClips out. Your Spiritus Mk4 has the same flat loops (you can see them as you pull that placard off your plate carrier @5:18). If someone wanted to remove *both* the SwiftClips *and* the loops... you are right; they'd have to cut those loops off.
