If it were mine, I would chop all that plastic off outside of the center structure and just have the air guide portion of the insert put back inside the duct. That MAY enhance air flow and the turbo noise a small bit more. Aftermarket needs to make a better more efficient duct with a better air diverter. It would most likely sell like hot cakes. Especially of it makes some more power and NOISE! There is a guy on You Tube that did some really deep research into with/without the foam & with/without the plastic insert. Without the insert there was a slight decrease in efficiency (read HP/TQ) because the pressurized air turns the sharp corner and only hits the turbine blades on one specific area vise evenly across the entire turbine rotor. That dirverter helps the air hit the turbine evenly.

Basic tuning is still a delete tune! Raceme only has deleted emissions tuning! That’s why your def fluid is at full. Called raceme and had to ask them. I watched this video thinking it was an emission tune. But it wasn’t.

I noticed those intake manifolds don’t really align well when you put them back on too, other cars you can almost just slap them on and it’s perfectly aligned these cars you have to adjust it a little bit then tighten it down

It would have been better to invest a hundred dollars to get a double din that was designed to fit perfectly without having to hack away at the dash. This is what is called a "Hack" Job. Double Dins are not that expensive.

I like the catch can idea BUT!!!! The way you have the can mounted, i really don’t think it will work properly. You have it flowing down then up. Fluids will not flow uphill without pressure.

Also I noticed you didn't take off the battery negative terminal and the positive terminal and it takes time for the throttle body to tell the ECM what it's settings are so that can cause all kinds of misfire issues and other problems. But once it reads enough time for for driving it resets. Sometimes you have to do a hard reboot by connecting the negative and the positive cables not on the battery

I found that the valve covers went on a lot less dramatically if I removed the fuel injector connectors. You're also supposed to use a small dab of silicone on the edges of the cover and at the seams of the casting since those are prone to small leaks otherwise. Your intake issue was probably due to you not loosening the black bracket at the back when putting the upper intake on - it needs to be able to move freely in order to seat properly against the lower intake and the gasket. The black bracket is there to provide structural support for the entire assembly; the vibrations from the engine and the weight of the throttle body can put enough torque on the upper intake to crack it. Getting the black bracket to move freely involves cracking loose three more bolts further down on the engine, and getting those tightened back is a pain and a half.. All that said, this is a good engine. No EGR, no VVT, no nonsense aside from a rather fickle ECU. :) It even holds some boost on stock internals; you can get ~330 hp out of it with stock internals and less than 1 bar of boost.

You got to love it Engineers need to work on cars for ten years before they design crap. Always remember trials and tribulations of auto mechanics are unsurpassed by any other means haha

It should still be hooked up to the turbo to create a vacuum in the engine. The catch can will CATCH the oil. Under heavy Acceleration the engine may produce internal pressure and start blowing out the seals. Creating oil leaks. Also look at the inner diameter of the factory vent tube that goes to the turbo. Its about twice as wide as the inner diameter of the fuel line you used. Folks MANY of these cheaper aftermarket catch cans dont flow enough under towing conditions or when power is delivered. Causing over pressuring the system. Do you selves a favor, and use AT LEAST the same size hoses (inner diameter) **Also make sure there are NO kinks in the hoses or sharp bends **

The speaker space is a 6x8 speaker opening. There's plenty of room between the door panel and speaker opening. A bezel that goes between the speaker and factory opening probably will fix the issue
