Hi thanks for your video. How often should I water it in a chunky mix? It’s so hard to tell. Would you say when it’s 50% dried out or almost 100% dry (the soil) thanks

Ugh my hubby gifted me a beautiful little Japanese crispy wave a week and a half ago. I watered her 3x already but a few days ago unnoticed something white forming at base and soil extremely dry. So I watered again 2 days later feels bone dry but maybe it’s ok? So I misted heavy tonight. Then I notice the tip of one of leaves is turning yellow 😢 gosh I hope it’s not dying already! I’m going tommorow to buy new little pot, soil and fertilizer

I have viewed several videos on care for the Birkin & some say that it is a slow to medium grower & some say that misting helps humidify them. Others say that it is not very prone to pests. Some say it is easy to grow. I have had two, both of which had leaves start from white to brown to dead. A skilled gardener friend has also given up on them. Today, I bought one on clearance at Wal-Mart for $5, which looks viable, for one more try. I have many varieties of Philodendrons, but this is the most difficult I have tried to grow.

Love the video!! What do you use to bring airflow in and out? How often do you use those systems? Just 30 minutes a day?

Thank you for this video! Is it normal for the new leaves of crispy leaf ferns to come in thin and straight up?

I don’t think she will ever get new leaves on her? It’s been a year no leaf on the vine whatsoever? Is this normal?
@debraslings99583 ай бұрын
I’ve had one of these for about a year now. Not even in new leaf yet. She has no leaves yet! She is about 10 inches long, finally the end of the vine has split into a Y.

I just bought a young monstera adosonii from a hardware store. It was incredibly dried out and crowded in the pot. All the leaves are a solid green but many did not unfurl. I thought they would unfurl once i watered it but that did not happen. Also some leaves have dried out edges. Does this sound like the mosaic virus?
