I've considered doing one on roof framing. But I didn't think it would be very popular.

Have stacks upon stacks of these I've been saving for something but aren't those paper"ish" type of sheets you're calling diffusers coated with silver??
@Makebuildmodify18 күн бұрын
I'm not sure if they have silver in them. I couldn't be much if there is.

I searched to find a good way to do this. I stumbled on this method years ago by trial and error. I thought I was too slow, but I guess this is normal. Just a long process.
@MakebuildmodifyАй бұрын
It can definitely be a tedious process!

I install and refinish hardwood floors. I've been doing it for six years and have always done the cuts myself, so I never had to learn how to read a measuring tape. I got offered a job in a construction company, and they told me that as long as I could read the measuring tape, there wouldn't be any problems. So, like everything else, I came to KZbin to learn.

Making a lighted Christmas tree on my lathe. Wanted to drill holes for fiber optics to come out. I marked four evenly spaced lines and did your pattern trick on all four sides so I could spiral all the fibers up the tree. Worked perfectly. Thanks for showing me this!!

It’s strange cuz for carpentry class I completely understand it but I just can’t remember my memory is god awful with tape measures
@MakebuildmodifyАй бұрын
it's take practice. The more you use it the easier is gets to remember any given measurement.

Loved the video, a question i have is what if your tools don't have a flared end? I'm in the M12 line and am wondering if this style would still work for my drill, surge driver, and die grinder?

Maybe they would have to be right-side-up in the rack?
