The problem isn't fan service being yucky or not, the problem is people going into spaces where they know so called 'gooner' content is the norm and throwing tantrums when they find said content.

@SkitsDen If you see something you think is wrong, do you ignore it or feel some sort of impulse to fix it? And the "space" you're talking about is almost the entire anime industry. Like, alright. Let's just isolate all women from the media. That's gotta work out well

@@Ghosst_writer Why do you assume it's only women? And I'm not saying that some of this stuff isn't absolutely weird, but what's the point in complaining when you knew you'd find that media? Why keep engaging with things you dislike and act surprised when they become a part of your algorithm? At some point you have to grow up, say 'this isn't for me', block and move on.

If you think that sexualization of women happens only in certain easily avoidable content, I don't know what to tell you. Because that's just blatantly untrue

Yeah, IIRC some of the devs are from Destiny. They stole the middle offset reticle AND all of the Hunter dodge effects from Destiny 2 and put them in their game. Like... literally when you dodge you go third person; some characters get a full reset on their ammo by reloading, some get HP back like the effect from Wormhusk Crown, etc. It literally has all the floatiness and maneuverability mechanics of Destiny without any of the speed or polish. NGL, tho, If Destiny were to make this game with their signature story characters, it would probably be neat. They wouldn't even need to make more models or anything and it could be a budget project AND it would still be better than whatever the hell Concord is/was.

@@seere8906 You start from the idea of "black skin" (or brown). Then you have dark black skin, and light black skin. But since this is usually used between people with black skin already, they will refer to light skin and dark skin, meaning the tones that black skin can have. In short, by this common understanding of it, Vanta's model is already light skinned.

From Twisty point of view, I assume her understanding of the term "Dark Skinned" is for overall black or brown skin regardless of tone, and "Light Skinned" would be for anything that could be called white or looks white in terms of skin color (that's how it's usually tagged in image boards).
