Are you the only one not unboxing an LV x Murakami? I actually like it. The design of te bag should speak for itself. Many people want the monogram to speak for the bag. Look at Louis Vuitton for example, its all the branding that makes it bold, but the style of the item, is basic and boring. Whereas, that Coach bag, the leather is nice and the design of the bag is nice too. Its classic and will enhance your outfits.

If you find the Empire for a lower price in the future, definitely grab it! It's a head turner in my opinion--not like other bags that might seem similar! Both the Rogue 39 and the Empire look quality, sophisticated bags!! Thanks for sharing Jonathan!!!🥰🥰🥰

Hi Jonathan.. I saw the Coach Empire in Macy's and for some reason it just didn't do it for me. I wasn't impressed by the leather. Dooney's Florentine, in my opinion, is so much better. The Clayton is one of my favorites, I have 3 of them. 🤭 I think you did the right thing. Plus, you are so lucky finding great deals that I wouldn't be surprised if you find a Coach Empire pre-loved at an amazing price eventually! As always, thank you for sharing! 💛

My gosh, you have all your handbags in their dust bags on the shelf! Me too, all on a top shelf. It’s so fashionable right now to have massive built-in closets with enough room for the handbags to be spaced nicely on the shelf and on display, and it’s so often the backdrop to a creator who is dressed in the “old money” look. One of these days, I want to make a video describing what I feel is really old money as I learned from my mother. We had old dressers inherited from the family, and the new dressers were quality wood and made in the US. Her collection of gorgeous heels stayed in their shoe boxes on the top shelf of her closet keeping the dust off of them, they weren’t on shelves on display. It wasn’t the current look, a huge built-in closet, so often white and something that could have been bought at IKEA, with a few built-in dresser drawers, and lots of shelves to display shoes and handbags instead of keeping them in boxes and dustbags to keep them out of light and dust. It’s a system for making yourself look good today, not for preserving your Birkin so you can pass it down to your daughter.

The issues you have pointed out are the same that OlaMae mentioned. She is returning 3 satchel. Maybe this is why Dooney has had a big sale lately...cheap factory

Hi! I am so glad I came upon your video because I’m dealing with similar issues with a mini Flo satchel I received. Mine didn’t have a serial tag inside!!! I bought it straight from ILD. The Flo wallet I received smells like straight up chemicals. The Flo leather feels incredibly thin. I’m like WTF is going on over at D&B?! I’ll eat the $10 shipping, but I’m not gonna keep a bag I’m not happy with.

I hear you… In the last the month, I’ve ordered 3 Florentine satchels from Dooney and they all were awful. All were covered in scratches, one had crooked and lopsided top handles, the third didn’t have the leather straps on the feet and it was the wrong size! Their customer service is useless and without offering exchanges, it’s pretty clear Dooney doesn’t value their customers.

Is it possible that a load of counterfeit bags have gotten through to Dooney outlets?

Ewww definitely not the kind of Dooneys I get, and sorry you did. Unacceptable and horrible. I think Dooney is super cleaning the warehouse for the new bags lined up for next year's 50th and just sending whatever. You are tight to send it back. Good luck with the next and lets hope this is an isolated incident.

For anyone not getting their return shipping refunded, or not being able to return a defective bag that was marked as final sale… Open up a Better Business Bureau complaint. That’s the only way that ILD listens. I know this from experience.

The last bag I ordered from, "I Love Dooney," was such poor quality that I will never buy another Dooney bag period.

Return it! I stopped buying Dooney years ago. I have a old shoulder equestrian bag from the 80's and it has a made in the USA label. The hobo bag I purchased 10 years ago was made in China and was over $200, I was done with this brand. Those Florentine bags are supposed to be the top of the line, over $300. Get your money back. Don't pay full price for Dooney or Coach. Quality has dropped.

just checked again and the Florentine bags i received today do have the leather Dooney and Bourke patch inside the bag...but do not have the fabric Dooney and Bourke tag ..at least they have the leather dooney and Bourke patch on or above inside pocket....i think they are slowly omitting the Dooney and Bourke tag from their bags...dooney is slowly taking the tags out of the bags
