This whole thing just turned into a super robot wars plot and I love it! Shinji getting punched by Kamina and then getting the ultimate pep talk from ironically the character that was based off of him but is way better to a degree Simon was a great idea. Plus all of the gundam portagonists just giving him more pep talks is something that this boy needs. Man this reminds me so much of how way better the super robot wars games would typically make certain storylines from most of these series b way better than the actual shows they're from even Eva got hit with the this is better in the games button until we got to some of the later games where they just went worse.

My main problem with Evangelion in a nutshell: People say it's deconstructionist like Gundam, but here's the difference: Gundam looks into why people making awful decisions by exploring human nature, looking to why people would make decisions that are bad,. Evangelion on the other hand, is what happens when everyone makes the worst possible decision that not only benefits no one, but also deliberately makes things worse for their goals. Also Gundam did the "Get in the robot" first and much, much, much better than Shinji.

I watched everything in Japanese in release order and I knew katakana from the start. I just pronaunce them like they do in Japanese except when they have English and German words in there names I prounaunce those words as they should be. I know only some German from middle school but I still remember how to prounaunce the words, like Sch being Sh in the word "Shore".

i'm very intersted in the story of GQuuuuux, the character dynamics seems interesting and all, but i must disagree with this video on the topic of Suletta. The message is clear: Suletta is not a normal girl, and her presence can be felt even when the season chooses to do worldbuilding. They're is a refined complexity in the idea of a replicant girl who essencialy pilots the original and when faced with the original's consciousness is confused. We get the scenes through her perspective. She's confused, all her life she's essencialy been an experiment, a lab experiment, so she doesn't have the ability (at least initially) to face the reality of the situation (thus she follows her "mom's" orders, and kills in a cold blooded fashion because she cannot understand the price of a life. She's smart but not in control, in Witch, she grows as a character, all the time, her backstory is fleshed out... (etc). This is my rant, Suletta is not a bad protag, she's not boring, and the scene with Eri is not that confusing. I think the new protag of GQuuuuux is going to be on par with Suletta. Both very good protag. Sorry if my rant is slightly off topic from the video, I just wanted to say that Suletta is not as bad as people think, she's a naive girl who was sheltered by her mother so she could become a good little pawn. (Also Gundam, The Witch from Mercury is an extremely good serie with a lot of good characters with a lot of complexity) On a side note, even if i don't like the design of this new serie, the plot seems very cool and interesting.
