Excellent... thank you so much for being REAL! I always carry my second shoes in my personal item bag as they are heavy items! Also just to say security don't weigh your bag,... it's the airline! So don't move items til you're through the gate😮! Ha🎉ppy travels❤

Try triple cords: they have 3 different types one one and makes a huge difference. Always travel with at least two bone is none and two is one. You can also invest in a jacket that has like 16 pockets and can even hold an iPad in the back pocket (supposedly). Wisps, flossers, and listerine strips for the trip and then buy more basic toiletries at destination. Hotels usually give them as well. A shampoo bar sample would be a great way to save on weight. I am a chronic overpacker so I would t even dream of trying to make on an overseas trip without all the things. It’s the military-survival-MacGyver-den-mother in me and it’s totally saved the day more times than I can count. You can also get laundry detergent sheets that weigh a lot less than liquids.

I have what’s called a “J-hook” adjustable luggage strap. It’s less bulky than the one you linked.

I want this bag, but I almost always fly American Airlines. If they did a “mini,” I would buy it in a HEARTBEAT.

You also forgot to mention that you can “hide” the backpack straps in the back so that it is more “check bag friendly” to keep the straps from getting caught on conveyor belts. I bought one recently and though I haven’t had a trip to use it for yet, I absolutely love it. I also got a smaller backpack from them as a daypack. I did go through and looked at EVERY 35L Del Dia that was available at the time until I found “the one” for me. I had definite pickiness for the main color and colors I didn’t want for the straps. I got such an awesome bag and, just like a fingerprint, no one else has this bag, so if it goes missing it will be obvious that this is MY bag.

I find that I manage to fit more into my bag when I don't use packing cubes and just fold and roll my clothes into my bag.

I need to take art supplies and a journal. I always carry my toiletries and medications and purse-type items in my underseat bag. I'm paranoid about my overhead bag getting stolen. The most important items are never out of my reach.

This is one of the best reviews of these cubes. I have had these for about 2 years and absolutely love them. I also love that they seem to fit perfect in any bag I have. Duffles, hard suitcase or a backpack.
