Why do they not put #1 podium in the middle like every other race in the world

Currently looking at World Cup races the trek team isn’t on a revolutionized super caliber. Just FA fork and shock which finally came to market around a month ago.

Good question! They are called cliff blocks and are often used by cyclists and occasionally runners. Other companies like GU also make them but in my opinion cliff makes them the best!

Maybe since TREK is an American company they are selling off their Gen 2 stock in the USA in anticipation of Gen 3 coming to the USA first. That would explain comments here talking about high stocks in other countries, as they might shunt their current Gen 2 stock to areas not expected to get Gen 3 for a while. Just a theory, I guess you could investigate if they did that during prior upgrade cycles.
@BrianVandenberg-h8q4 ай бұрын
My LBS confirmed today - No Gen 3 coming. But 2025 Gen 2 will hit the Australian trek website this coming weekend 😊
@BrianVandenberg-h8q4 ай бұрын
Interesting theory but from looking at UK bikes shops online there is a lot of new Gen 2 stock on order with 2025 MY and new colors and prices which doesn’t suggest Gen 3 is likely anytime soon.
@AidenRidesBikesMTB4 ай бұрын
Thank you for the insight from the U.K! I just have the information for the area near me so maybe California is just getting less of them shipped. Hope at least the video was enjoyable!

I’m actually located in Australia. I have a 2025 Gen 2 on order which is due to arrive in late September/early October. It is not showing on the Trek website but instore at my LBS they showed me that it coming soon. Thanks for the video. Always interested in anything related to the Supercal 😊

Great video and congrats! I'm surprised how capable the Supercaliber is and I love mine. Are you using the stock fork, or did you opt for a little more squish up front?

I am using the stock fork but a 120 mm fork would have probably been better!

Hey Aiden, congratulations! As one of your coaches I'll get to say "I knew him back when...". So stoked for you! Finishing 10 mins ahead is quite an achievement and your climbing performance may be an indication that you could have brought a little more travel with you to not only aid you on the descent but to enjoy it more. I'm super stoked for your future!

Haven’t raced for years but ❤raced for 25, years. it was dis-heartening seeing a team 1,2,&3 in the beginner class, I could never win my class until I started racing Clydesdale.. 205 - 215 lbs. started placing then, since it was open class and the fast dudes were racing beginner.

@@joepistorio2457 ah yes if he’s that young no way to move up from what I know I’ve raced many times & we would always have people in our group that needed to move up but preferred to win over & over you know the old saying The harder the battle the Sweeter the victory. Congrats to him for sure if he’s that young you don’t see a lot of younger people putting in the work in cycling we both know it’s a tuff sport the second highest cardio rating out of all sports cross country skiing is #1.
