Total rebuild with crank turned was the only valid repair paid for by Pennsoil inc.

What filter do you use? And how big is the opening? I’m having trouble with a midget. Oil pressure goes down to almost 0. I cannot find a filter that fits!!! I need 5/8 opening.

You are talking about a 1.5 midget with the special insert? Napa used to sell those filters with the insert and I misplaced all my numbers when I closed the business in 2017 that I had for those oil filters with both size inserts. Sorry If i'm not much help.

Try Moss motors to get the correct filter, then can buy more locally. I usually buy 5 filters for longterm convience. One less thing to worry about , when time for oil

i have a 1969 gt6 with a TR6 motor and need the drop down boxes like you have for the stock carbs to fit. may i ask where you got those and if they are available to me?

I sold out my half to the finder of this car and I get to overhaul the engine. 5 Main 1.8l, Flat top 8.5:1 New pistons, Std/std crank, Custom head and paint work. New stock cut cam and lifters, New B&B clutch kit. Installed $2500.00 US

Al, I closed the business after 51 year of service and still maintain these British vehicles locally in retirement. I belong to several Facebook British auto groups that are very helpful worldwide. Phone and email address was compromised recently and trying to still clear my name and accounts. Sorry!

Hi Tino, Good diagnosis on this oil pressure problem. Tried to watch the "jaghealey" but it kept breaking up. I did make out your blaming me for some sort of insanity!! Tomorrow I am picking up a 1969 MGB so I will be stopping by. Matt

Please refer to the books: Rebel Gold by Bob Brewer and the three books on the KGC by Dr. Roy Roush. When you find pieces like that their location and orientation often dictate clues to a larger, purpose burried cache of value!

Door panels were used & dyed BLK. All blue vinyl was painted w/ base coat & clear coated. Kick and side panels were constructed from 3/16" PVC sign material (the stuff you see on the roads advertizing all the elections!!)W/padded BLK vinyl. Cloth seat coverings were purchased thru Vic Brit. Don't get their cheapest Carpet set. My Bro had the vehicle for 16 years and may have paid $1500. Total cost of parts, about 4K. All labor provided by my daughters and I were free. He's my Bro!
