I am seriously considering making this move. I have the Platinum and gold and recently got the delta business platinum. I plan to get the business reserve and personal delta platinum and then spend enough for gold status. I have a P2 and 2 kids, so the 4 free passes per year cuts down my lounge costs significantly. I'm going to give it a go and see how it works out. I'll keep the amex gold card though for the 4x on food.

I am drifting away from Cap One. I have a savor one and Quicksilver both for several years now with a 800 credit score. Both these card have about 4k limit on them. They never increase the limit. Just got the Chase Sapphire preferred and was torn between it and a venture card but was afraid they would deny me for no reason.

I do about 10k each month in that category. I'm not sure how people live spending 10k on groceries and gas in a year. The bonus points are very generous.

Hilton is .65 to me, but Hilton has the fifth night free on rewards bookings, so it can be much higher. I just like the card and the quarterly credits make the card a +$50 before you do a thing (can always get a gift card).

I couldn't be more happy with my decision to cash out 800k during c19. I didn't put it in a roth tho. I'm in pop-up jail now, maybe someday they'll let me have soup again

At Chase I have a personal savings, checking, and brokerage accounts. I have a business checking, along with the CSP, Southwest, Chase Flex, and Amazon cards with a total credit limit of 72k among the 4 credit cards. I was recently approved for Chase Ink Cash and Chase only gave me $1,100 credit limit, which makes it kind of challenging to achieve the 3k in 3 months and 6k in 6 months Sign up Bonus. I agree with you that Chase and AmEx are changing a lot things in this credit card game that we’ve been playing for many years.

I’ve had the ink cask for about 5 years. Very light spend over the years and was approved without any hiccups for the ink unlimited just last week with a low $3k limit.

So now I the have zero chance to be approve if I want to apply for a new ink cards with those new “rules”. So is this rule per social security number or per EIN number? If that s per social security number then if I cancel all of them I should be good to apply for new ink cards? To cancel business credit cards do not impact your credit score as soon as your balance is zero right? Thanks by advance! ⭐️

Excellent video. Disappointed to hear about the Ink cards, but not surprising as I think a lot of people have picked up the cards for the bonuses and may not have had "full fledged" businesses. With the high periodic bonuses that likely also played into it. Thanks.

Happened to me! Had to call 4 times to get approved and activate and reactivate after card was declined at point of sale😞

I think they are sensitive to your Zip code. I live in the southeast and initially was offered like 60k for the gold. I ended up getting 90k by using the incognito trick. Who's to say that AMEX isn't showing the "as high as" offers because they want customers from certain geographic locations?
