Have you ever thought of prepping for your week on Friday or Thursday? The food looks so yummy especially that chia seed pudding and the Greek salad I was salivating

Definitely! I was thinking about at least going food shopping on Saturday this way I can come home and clean/cut everything but Friday is even better because it takes less out of my weekend and thankfully I work from home on Fridays. Thank you for the suggestion! Highly recommend the chia seed pudding and it takes no time once you have all the fruit cut and cleaned. I hope you had a wonderful weekend ❤️❤️

Darker Non stick pans bake quicker. Lower temp by about 15-25° and that helps. Tin foil pans are the worst to bake in even if convenient, because they add toxic aluminum to your food. You did awesome on your meal prep❤

Thank you!! I’ll lower the temp when I try again on Wednesday!! I’m excited to perfect it in the pan and I’ll just wrap it up nicely when I give it to family. I had no idea about the toxic aluminum. Nothing is safe anymore 🥲

@ seriously they’re trying to kill us one way or another I swear! Also, if you scratch the non stick pan and it takes a layer off, toss it. Underneath that coating can be toxic too. It’s pathetic. If you go to an actual restaurant kitchen supply, find those stainless bread loaf pans. They’ll last a lifetime, even heating, and no chemicals! Or do what I do even with nonstick, I put unbleached parchment paper in it first, then batter, then bake. Easy to pull out to cool also and a cleaner, saved pan.

Love a good staycation. Relaxing, even with the stresses of dining out and shit wine! Haha……the frittata I make, I scramble the eggs, butter a pan, put it in there then add all the toppings and throw in oven at 375 for 15-25 min depending on how many eggs you whisked up. It bakes through and stays fluffy.

The wine was so bad but the cheeseboard made up for it (at least for me 😂) I burnt the bottom my frittata today trying get the top of it to cook so I’m going to try this next time. You’re the best, thank you for all the baking and cooking tips!! 🙏🏼🫶🏼❤️ I hope you had a restful weekend!

I still screw up so many things, but thank god my husband will eat it anyways😂…the cheese board looked delicious so at least not all bad, but still, shit wine is just so rude…how dare them! 😂😂

Honestly I can’t even remember what I did. On New Year’s Eve eve we went out to the city, had dinner, and saw them set up for new years in Times Square. Then New Year’s Eve and day we just relaxed at home. Then now we are spending a week in Puerto Rico so I am probably going to go into shock and seasonal depression when I get back

When I wear a fake or knockoff of kislux , I feel proud knowing that I am not spending unnecessary money and I can look good while proudly supporting my family. As for the owners of designer brands, they have it all. There is no need to support them.

Luxury brands only change their strategies for the super rich...The price increases of Fendi, LV, Givenchy and the like are nonsense. Therefore, those ordinary rich people or middle- and upper-class people who can really afford it need to think twice before buying it. If they are just looking to save face, they will buy from kislux .

Another way to peace is by being a believer. When you are stressed and overwhelmed just ask god to lead you and guide you and take care of you. But it doesn’t work if you don’t have trust or faith. Once I was thirsty getting off a plane and a sealed water bottle just appeared. Or I had no money for college and a full ride scholarship email came through. I even got tuition for medical school. My husband recently converted to catholic after not enjoying his church his family grew up in. You can always explore where you feel like home is for you.

Those are amazing stories! I've been struggling with religion for quite a few years now. I am a relatively spiritual person and believe good things come to those who are good. I could definitely explore options to find what speaks most to me. I just can't help but go to church and feel angry. One day I hopefully won't feel this way and maybe I'd be less angry if I gave it up to God but I would be lying if I said it wasn't a struggle for me right now. Maybe 2025 will be my year of progress.

You feel angry because your dad died I think and you have to forgive. I don’t know the universe and Gods plan. My uncle died at the same time that my other uncle who was 30 years younger’s life was spared. When we are angry it harms ourselves and never the people or things we are angry with which I have to say is sometimes frustrating in itself.

All of the real estate agents I know voted for the next president because they are hoping that as a previous real estate investor he will lower the interest rates. Right now a lot of the houses for sale are from estates because the owners passed away. Most owners are in your position and want to move but can’t because the market is high and interest is high. If your beach house is by the highlands though you could always stay there more often and take the ferry into New York though

I know so many people are in the same boat as us BUT people in my real life seem to look for a house and find one relatively quickly. Mike and I have been looking since before covid so it's gotten a bit disheartening. I'm hoping to spend more time down the shore this year. I just have to get Mike onboard!! :)

One thing you could have peace with is by accepting that you are not moving. In NJ you will sell your house to move into something worse for the same price. My interest rate in Delaware is 6.5% which I feel is high and we had to go from NJ Philadelphia suburbs to Delaware suburbs because everywhere in NJ is insane. At least in California they have enough new construction some places that if you have a large amount down you can get something built. But there is not land in north jersey and you don’t want to commute more.

Yes, Mike and I spoke about interest rates this weekend and it's brutal. If we find our absolute dream home, we would consider buying but we haven't fallen in love with anything in our price range. If it's meant to be, it will be! I would love to move to California but that doesn't fit into our current life. The New Jersey housing market is insane. I wish we had more flexibility in our jobs to move elsewhere. I'm not married to living in NJ for the rest of my life regardless. I'd like to move west at some point. In the meantime, I'm trying to make our current house more of a home and be grateful for what I have!

I have one HIDUPZ bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

Growing up in New York, I would always see women on Park Avenue buying the same fake stuff from street vendors. Nowadays, it has developed to the point where everyone is buying on kislux , and there is nothing wrong with this.

Have super dry skin so using Castor Oil on my face has been great. Also love Chanel Le Lift, Natasha Denona The Glam Pallet and the Dior lip balms.

I usually use castor oil once a week (the night before I wash my hair) and my face is so soft and plump in the morning. I haven’t used it in a bit and I should. I’ve never used Chanel skincare but that packaging is gorgeous!

@@FortuneTarantolaThe castor oil really is great. Also I know it sounds crazy but have been taking beef organ supplements and have noticed a difference in my skin. Almost like I've had a facial. However I can only take half the recommended dosage bc of the amount of vitamin A. Wanted to say also if you like that TF scent, you should try 'Back to Black' from Killian and 'Morning Chess' by Vilhelm. Both have a signature spicy/smoky scent. Back to Black is my signature scent with a cherry/honey/tobacco notes. It's hypnotic. Vilhelm is just sexy!

I hope your new year was peaceful! We were in bed by 10:30 but we’re constantly woken up by fireworks and neighbors fighting and I thought of you and your dogs. I’m wishing you and your loved ones a very healthy and happy year ahead ❤️

@ the fireworks and guns were absolutely brutal here too! I drugged them with rescue remedy and cbd oil and thank the lord lady didn’t have a seizure. Bug (the pug) slept like the dead! I was a wreck. We were in bed by 730 watching crime documentaries on loud to drown out the outside noise as best as possible. I guess I started snoring as soon as everything calmed around 1230. Ringing in the new year is never gratifying when you’re older, but I’m really hoping this year is much better than the past. We need a change for the better…….glad you guys were safe at home. Sorry about the fur babies stressors. Wishing you and Mike a most fabulous year! With all your new baking supplies you should try one new recipe a month for a whole year and see how it turns out! I’m so glad you had a great Christmas and your daddy was watching over you and beaming with pride, I just know it❤️

It’s convenient when I shop with gift cards and cash but many of my bags are too small to carry a large wallet with all the unnecessary things I must carry lol I’m a sucker for logos and the bigger the jewelry (and more layers) the better. Black Birkin bag, this is the first good choice I made. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to date a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. After coming into contact with kislux , I am more willing to invest the money saved in my own growth.

Christmas Eve was too funny. It's also funny how my sister and I never thought to question how tall the tree will grow... apparently it can grow up to 8 feet! hahaha. I'll keep that tidbit between us because my mom would probably freak out. Mike is the best. He came with a list of which gift was which and the order he wanted me to open them in... it bothered him that I couldn't remember which gift was which but like you said, we can't sweat the small stuff!! I called it gift roulette and you had to see his face LOL I tried one of the food savers on an onion yesterday. It took a minute to lock it in but I have high hopes and will keep you posted! I hope you had a relaxing weekend!!

Honestly I never wrapped my 1 yr old’s Christmas gifts this year. I had some cramps and it just wasn’t the best morning. But we put together her sundae stand and she loved it. I just don’t sweat the small stuff. Oh if you line your pans with one of those silicone baking mats they will be easier to clean. They also have one for the oven if stuff spills.

This was the first year I wrapped as I received each gift and it wasn't bad but there have been years past where I just throw things in a gift bag because I can't deal. I've never heard of a silicone baking mat but that sounds like something I need! I could use one for the toaster oven.. it's forever a mess no matter how many times we clean it. I usually use parchment paper but I was a bit nervous about the mushrooms and not thinking things through.
