Hi, now that my warranty has expired, I too would like to reset the service light independently. Your video is quite clear, now I will purchase OBD2 but I can't find the software, if I give you my email address, could you send it to me? Thank you, Bye bye

Yes there are two signal paths. The stomp is mostly only limited by processor power. And even that is pretty respectable.

I have a cardo freecom 4+ and I have been trying to pair to a Lexin b4fm. I can’t seem to get them to talk. I go through the cardo app and try to pair a non-cardo unit and I use the intercom pair mode “x” and it just won’t talk. Any suggestions?
@DonMPhotography

The B4fm has a common user manual with the x16 which is what I was testing with. …I wonder if you did a reset on the B4fm if it might cooperate??

@@DonMPhotography tried that. My app kicks me out of my cardo connection while it’s trying to find the Lexin. Any ideas? I tried making sure I have the latest update for both the cardo unit and the app

I was just out on a ride the other day and my friend has the B4fm. He put his into pairing mode while we were having our icecream and I put mine in pairing mode with the app. They were both flashing indicating waiting to pair. I forget which button it is on the Lexin but he pressed it on his and they connected shortly. On the way back he said we actually had a little more range than he did with his other friend who has the Lexin x16. …For the record I do see there is an update on the Cardo that I have not installed yet??

Great video. I have to say these 660s have the worst rear end. I probably ride harder than most but between the hollow swing arm the insanely long chain and no tensioner it’s really hard to align the thing correctly and get it to stay put. My axle bolt wants to twist which probably means it’s bent. Got a new axle bolt and same thing happens. It’s really apparent one major cost saver was the design of the swingarm. It looks great but once you get the hardware off the rear wheel it’s like wtf is this crap. I looked at a brand new Daytona 660 at the dealer yesterday and the cap at the end of the swing arm wasn’t even in straight. Transmission shifts badly when the chain isn’t right. This is by far my biggest complaint with my trident 660. Someone needs to design a better axle block and adjustment mechanism. I think they’d sell well

The video audio has a good amount of white noise going on. At first I thought you were demonstrating the EIM sound quality using the video audio but then the EIM audio at the end was clean so I guess it was your video audio setup that was producing the noise. Not a negative criticism as the review including the EIM audio was helpful. Just an observation. Thanks for the review.

It’s 29.5” to the top of the seat tube to the ground. I won’t give the seat height as I have a shock absorber seat post and that ads quit a bit to the lowest possible seat height.

@@DonMPhotography Which means on playback the tracks are shuffled to a high buffer, that's why I asked. You can set it to 16 buffer or 1024, makes no difference for playback. The only time there's a difference is for record armed tracks. Even VI's are shuffled on playback buffer unless record armed for live play. Studio one has very poor low latency performance on OSX (good on windows), but if you were arming a track at a time or even two to record when needed, that's totally within expectations as possible and that's when the 16 buffer would have given you super low realtime latency. Presonus only copied Logic with a hybrid buffer after they realised they could not get good performance on OSX otherwise, as did Pro Tools with their 1024 playback buffer and Cubase/Nuendo with Asio guard. Try Studio One version 2 on OSX at 16 buffer, when the entire project would actually be on 16 buffer the entire time, then come back to me :)

I have a jbl prx718 sub with 2 Mackie thump 15s and was wondering if 2 bose f1 812s with 2 f1 subwoofers would outperform my JBL 718 both in sound pressure level and dynamics? I have an opportunity to purchase them at a reasonable price, just need to make sure im not going backwards in bass performance. Thanks . I do a lot of mobile DJ stuff graduation parties bars restaurants. Indoor and outdoor.

Re: side panniers: I fitted both panniers earlier today; the first went in easily, the second was difficult, particularly aligning all three parts (ie the top front and rear and the lower rubber rest) Am I right in noticing that you insert the rear top before the rear front, or was it both together. Thanks

You should be able to fit both top mounting points in and then line up with the bottom point and slide it forward. There should be a bit of a gap with the bottom bracket before you slide it forward to lock in place.

Thank you for the suggestions to tighten the belts up. It was useful. But as an engineer I have to tell you that belts do not stretch; they wear. And Unless someone has a trained eye or carefully inspects the contact points on the belt. Only then will you begin to see the wear. Personally, if I saw the belts were that worn. I would not have made the adjustments I would have simply replaced the belts. Also I did an impeller modification by installing rubber belting To cover the gap between the snow blower and peller and the housing. It functions much better. But I agree with thecommenters in that the snow blower is fully incapable of blowing more than about thirty feet. Even with brand new belts that are properly adjusted. Because of the gap between the tip of the snow blower impeller and the housing. The second reason why they are incapable is because the engine simply do not deliver enough torque. But the Cub cadet works. Satisfactorily for me satisfactorily for my needs here in maryland with our limited snowfalls. There would be no way I would own a cup cadet in Canada. It would gravely or ariens, Or honda if they still make combustion engine driven snowblowers. Of course the best is to get a four by four Pick up truck with a snow plow! Thanks again for an informative video.
