I've got Phantom Breaker on the Jap 360, quite a good game as I remember This will be an interesting series because I really don't know much about this generation as I switched off from gaming at that point No denying that last pickup is epic, such a cool item to have, awesome find and amazing to see. Would like one but I'm unlikely to stump up the cash they go for these days Awesome stuff Jay 👍

Should be a good series of videos, plenty of PlayStation games to get stuck into. Spiderman 2 looks good and that controller is a great addition, I remember seeing champion Robs sm ps5 system, very nice. Phantom Breaker is very nice, glad your enjoying it, the other cover will probably be the outer box for the collectors set, it's stunning, inside the game box is actually the same as yours, not the best piece of Japanese game box art if I'm being honest 😂 Awesome addition with the ps telly, good it's going revive your love for the ps2, when you say your rebuilding a select ps2 collection I'm assuming thats pal games and you hopefully still have your Japanese ps2 fighters? I don't really study prices but I reckon a lot of people haven't fully understood future ps3 increases correctly, people think it won't be the same as snes or md and it probably won't be fully but things will imo go high on the niche titles with more limited print runs, it's already happening, the sheer volume of newer collector's who'll be coming into the hobby over the next few years years who for them the ps3 will be their nostalgic console of their youth like our snes or md will really shake up the market, sure, cods and fifas with enormous print runs won't shift but those obscure titles I reckon will be very good collectable. Looking forward to the next edition of the series 👍

Great stuff! Gonna love watching this series! I Still haven't bought a game for my PS5 :D. Some awesome PS3 grabs mate, loved Wolverine, platinumed it back in the day! Majin is a great game too, gets a bit samey towards the end but still great fun, easy platinum too :D! Goldeneye Reloaded and 007 Legends are on PS3 too mate, Goldeneye is really good, but Legends is a bit naf compared to the others. I've had a couple of those PS2 TVs, they're pretty cool. I was thinking about grabbing another when I started collecting again, but I'd rather play PS2 on the same screen as my other consoles I think, lovely addition to any playstation collection though mate! Really enjoyed that vid Jay!

Yes finally ditched those red spines for some decent games 😉 I recently got godzilla too fortunately paid with vouchers, and although its an limited but enjoyable game, the fact it makes you play it so many times broke it for me. Majin is a fun game, one i never actually beat. Seems like every one is on the ps3 train making those prices go up. 😢 I loved my PS2 TV its a great piece, but i ended up selling it as i just wasnt using it enough, and i couldnt work out how id have it in my set up. The amoubt of AV input options blew my mind when i got it. So many options. Great stuff 🤘

Great pick ups Jay. Been looking at ps3 games to fill a few gaps in my collection. I just recently picked one game I've wanted for a long time. I'll need to take a look at Majin, you've got me curious on that one. Wolverine is an excellent GOW style game. The final boss fight with Deadpool passed me right off though. Not very fun at all. Awesome to see that ps2 tv. If it was region free it would be perfect. Great stuff man, look forward to seeing what else you get.

I've been putting off picking up X-Men Origins Jay. Price pisses me off lol. Have you seen the PS2 version? Only found out about it a couple of months back. Looks really ice graphically. And it's only a tenner 👍 Nice grab with Bloodstone Jay. I think the game having a bit of a cartoony look helps. If they'd gone for realism it might not have aged as well. Playstation Monthly...I think I just found my new favourite monthly content 💙 Absolutely love PS3 & the 7th gen. I nedd to go through Wolverine this year. Aye, the movie is gonna be class. I have heard thst bloodstone is a pretty good game, another I wanna play 👍 Can't wait to grab Stellar Blade at some point. Majin is a very very good game, I played it last year. Have fun on the PS3 journey. Already some great titles you have in there. I was a wii and 360 guy during that era. But tempted to get a PS3 soon whilst the prices are still reasonable.

Also I didn't know there was a Tekken 3 Dualshock pack. That's a nice piece for the collection. Like you it's one of my favourite Tekken games. Very nostalgic. It's been great to see you back mate. It's this generation that turned me off gaming for a few years so most of it I've never played You have another epic collection of it though mate, love the red PS3 , I've only ever had fat consoles myself Magnificent collection of collectors sets and steel books, can't believe how many and dread to think the value I've got a very small PS3 collection, just the ones that are up my street Brilliant Jay 👍

Very nice Jay. Some really nice special editions. I also had an American PS3. I imported the 20gb in 2006. Then picked up a UK console in 2007 at launch lol. I've had way too many PS3 over the years 😂 Still my favourite console of that era. And the last truly great generation of games for me. I only have 3 games to add to my collection now. Unfortunately 2 of them are £25-30 each. Really hurts to pay that for a PS3 game lol. Looking forward to watching you build up the collection this year mate 👍

Some lovely boxsets there matey.. I'm around similar numbers with my 360 collection .. definitely need to hunt out some of the nicer boxsets where I can before they start rocketing in price 🙈 lol

Some great ps3 stuff Jay 👍 what an amazing console, for me the last ever system I've fully enjoyed, ps4 is great, love the fighters I have but there's too many rehashes out we've seen many times before to take the ps4 seriously, the ps3 I collected and played games from across the board, fighters, racers, action games, puzzles, sports, wacky Japanese games like no more heroes, hundreds of games, an amazing console. Some great collectors sets you've got there, interesting to see all the American releases you have as they are a bit more unusual for us to see, it was a trip down memory lane. I had a day on the ps3 a few weeks ago as I don't play the system enough, wow, played a few usual suspects like the street fighter iv games, ultra, what a great fighter, Street fighter x tekken I love, don't think it was particularly well received by some but I love that game, arcana hearts, aqua pazza, guilty gear, blazblue, blade arcus, the darkstalkers collection, kof, doa, loads more no doubt but it was a few weeks ago and the old memory banks are failing 😂 Good luck adding those games you've been researching, looking forward to seeing what you've added 👍 Btw, definitely look at the newer blazblue games on other systems.

PS3 is an amazing system. I had to bite the bullet and get it back since I missed some games. My list is short though, for me its only about 30-40 great ones. Great collection mate

I prefer the slim too, they seem to be more robust too, had a few original ps3s fail on me but all the slims I’ve owned have been fine so far! I’m on a massive PS3 kick a the minute so looking forward to seeing this grow mate! Very nice selection to start you off mate!

I can't stand the markets anymore, always too cramped, too hot and too stressful! Some good bargains to be had though if you can be arsed rooting! Looking forward to seeing the PS3 collection now mate, some nice additions there! The Monkey Island games are tricky if you're not a big fan of the genre but the humour in them is smart!

Cracking collection Jay. The hitsquad collection are tough but Lethal Weapon really hope one pops up. The 3 million variant nice find with spy Hunter and beachhead crazy as prices are now and nuts that these tapes were 25p each at play Manchester back in 2012.

Unfortunately I think you and quite a lot of the other collectors will struggle with the last one which is a shame Great video fella 👍
