I remember how blown away I was seeing this in the arcade in the 80's great cab looking cab that mate.

Dragon lair intro really did stand out in the arcades. I remember putting £1 into DL on holiday at Leysdown on Sea gone within 1min When the Amiga had DL/DL2 and Space Ace was brilliant to see really nice but a load of disks, think the spectrum had a rolling port from Jim Bagley not a (official release) Tom also loves the Dragon Lairs so peace of mind that the stick/button artwork is the same to the arcade Really nice two have both Dragons and Space Ace plenty to learn and master btw really thought you were gonna complete it on that run ..

I also own all the replicades but the reason I buy these I call them functional furniture. I put all of them on in my arcade and it takes me back to Nathan‘s or one of those arcade places. The sounds the looks even though we play the newest systems like PlayStation five and Xbox X or switch way way more just actually makes the room look really nice

I still look at them as giant toys and as long as you look at them such a bother you if they’re not perfect

That looks a real nice arcade 1up, you are so right, the availability of them in the UK is appalling, beyond a handful you can get. We are so short changed here compared with what available in the US, I would love an Outrun one but you just can't get them Dragon's Lair is a classic, loved it on the 3DO, never got that far thanks to the insane micro second timing required but still a great game, only played the other 2 briefly on CDI Awesome stuff 👍✌️

Oh, very nice. Looks superb and the fact that it comes with all 3 titles is great value. My favourite of the 3 as got to be Dragon's Lair II Time Warp. I never play the original Dragon's Lair in the arcade growing up but do like it. I'm pretty sure that marquee is as it is in the arcade. It's the same style as the one on Space Ace.

Dragon's Lair II only has directions where to go in the arcade if you put the skill level very low, otherwise it doesn't show.

imo save your money just get the mini replicade versions of dl and space ace. I have both they're great. and you can hook it up to a full size tv or computer monitor if you want

Nice review, very tempted by the one up cabs, it would have to be a street fighter for me. You are way better than me at these games, I remember seeing these in the arcade and being blown away that you could play a cartoon!

Hey Martin These games where way ahead of there time. And always been a massive nostalgic part of my gaming life. Great games very simplistic but also very frustrating to the new players. I totally get you with street fighter all time classic fighter and definitely one you should start your new 1up arcade collection with 🤣 thanks for making time to watch much appreciated. I’ve actually found it and put the dust cover on now I left it in the box. The sync issue has never bothered me. Thanks for watching.

I remember you playing this at play expo years ago mate, youve defo got DL nailed need some work on number 2 and Space Ace lol Shame about some of the design choices, some i get some like the side panels just see odd (was the box smaller perhaps it was to reduce that?) Defo a series of games that suit this style as you say the originals run off very expensive and very unreliable laser disk players so its a no brainer to "emulate" it now
