Everybody knows to cut in before painting, thats rubbish, its easier to use your ROLLER to paint first then cut in, best tip I can give to people that have to paint, get yourself the 3 in 1 Sealer Primer Undercoat, then get it tinted to 75% of the topcoat, this is the most important part, always use the best paint, I only ever use Solver Paints
@theglampman3785Ай бұрын
Here is why I say to paint the top first with a brush if the wall is very tall: 1. Best to climb on a ladder early in the day (before you get tired, lazy or start to rush). We don't want any accidents. 2. When you are on the ladder, if the wall is not painted yet you can lean and place your hand on the wall for balance. If you have just painted the wall, that is not an option. (Again a safety thing).

A great video. It gave me all the reasons why I'm not cut out for this business. I have an excellent property to do it , but bottom line , I am an introvert who doesn't enjoy company, noise, and social media. However , I find the business highly interesting and I enjoy all the videos. Fun to watch , and makes one honest with themselves if they are cut out for this.

Thank you so much @gjm456 for your thoughts and compliment. Of course running a glamping business is not for everyone and here on my channel I do my best to show the audience what it is really like. I am also glad you find it fun to watch, as I sure do have fun making these videos and hope many out there like you are finding it both entertaining and educational.

You have the right to comment on my site the way you did and that's why I allow all comments. @@theglampman3785 glamping is glamorous camping. Your version exhibits ingenuity. It is not glamorous, and has nothing to with addiction, has nothing to do with being a mother and isn’t even an opinion. It is glamping v camping in a manner that is more sheltered and comfortable than a tent.

wouldn’t the water be dirty?
@theglampman37853 ай бұрын
hi Jacob. When it first starts to rain yeah the water is dirty because of all dust, pollen and all that kind of stuff that is on the roof. So I wait a few minutes after the rain starts to open up the cap so only fresh water goes into the tank. The other method is to have a pipe that collects the dirty water first and then once that pipe is full (because there is only small holes to let it drain, that then only the fresh water makes its way into the tank. Thanks for your question.
@jacobzanrye41023 ай бұрын
@@theglampman3785 ah i understand, interesting. I was thinking a filter inside of the tube would help ensure it’s not contaminated or dirty water. The water passes downward through the tube & filter and enters the tub.

Thanks for watching and commenting Mr. Practical. Yes, that makes sense...but only on paper. I live on the top of a mountain and the property sits on a 14 degree incline. A 20,000 lbs dump truck would become a permanent part of my backyard, sinking about a foot into the ground if it were to drive off the gravel driveway. Dump, move and stack is the only way at my glamp.

How does that particular wood stove work? I've been seeing mixed reviews on it, biggest beef seems to be no intake vents? That's really why I clicked on this was to tryband get an independent review on that particular stove.
@theglampman37853 ай бұрын
So I have (really my guests have) been using this stove 3 winters now. The door it self has holes for air to flow in (not adjustable). At the top of the stove in the back where the chimney starts is the vent to adjust airflow going out. I just have it set in the most 'OPEN' position to make sure clients can get a fire going. It may burn faster, but for us not an issue as its being used one night at a time and not worry about a couple extra logs being burned.
@Supercharged1113 ай бұрын
@@theglampman3785 Good. So it's not an issue to get a fire going then (the folks complaining must not know what they're doing). The advertised BTUs will be plenty for me. But I also want a backup propane wall heater like you have. I just have tons of wood (trees) on my property and would like the ability to reduce my heating costs when motivation allows. Thanks for responding!
