The original 1984 version is unbeatable, beyond the additional technology in the other two later versions, I didn't like them. This mix has a better sound than the original, but I only like the parts where the original singers from 1984 sing, and the repetition of verses didn't seem good to me. A remix of the versions separately would have been better. The extended version from 1984 is obviously post-produced, because it sounds better.

No, just no, so many people are struggling worldwide, all these billionaires are asses, they need to stop preaching to us, they have the money, they should donate.

A versão original era linda e esta também é. Ao invés de ficar debatendo qual é a melhor, deveríamos debater em porque este mundo não melhora???

Ethiopians are early christians. Yes, we know Christmas since early Christianity. The Ethiopian people demand Band Aid and Bob Geldof cease and desist the music that purposely designed to erodes African values, racist, judgemental, prejudice, and defaming. NOW! Bob Geldof, take off your hands from Africa!ኢትዮጵያን የነካ የለውም በረካ!

I remember the release of original 1984 single well and also people in the papers and on TV saying it was a great cause but the song was forgettable. Looking back with the context of 40 years, how wrong does that seem now?

They've got a newer take of Bono singing his famous line ('well tonight thank god...") playing over the 1984 footage of him singing it - is that a mistake?

Absolutely beautiful song that still gets me choked up. It is awesome that Ethiopia is no longer in famine, but the world is still filled with the starving and malnourished and that is what this song is still trying to combat. Feed the World! Can we agree on that and stop bashing the song? The lyrics might reference Africa, but the story of hunger and homelessness is a global plague. Fight about it when everyone has a full belly and has a safe place to call home. Until then, your disparaging comments are simply part of the problem.

We, Ethiopians, are very grateful for what the Band Aid did 40 years ago during one of our trying moments. However, Ethiopia has come a long way since then. I don't understand the motive behind the release of this remix video now without context. Do they make remix videos about the great famine in Ireland and make money? Trying to make money by showing dying children is really low.

The importance of the mission remains the same, but this mix just reinforces how the quality of each subsequent recording after 1984 declined. The artists just fail to rise to the level of the original.

Sending love from the United states, Tampa Bay Florida. We have a lot of homeless people here, a lot of hungry people and not enough caring people and not enough answers to get people back on their feet. The pandemic only made everything worse. I went from having a home and a business to becoming homeless and living in my car in a very brief time. It ended my marriage, until winter of 2022, I slept in a folding chair on a sidewalk outside of a public library. I developed weeping cellulitis, ulcers in one leg, and spinal stenosis which required surgery. I am basically now in a nursing home at 62 dreaming of a life that I had just a few short years ago. I keep telling myself I'm going to get well and get out of here, get a job and start earning money I'm getting a place to live again. Maybe it's a pipe dream but I don't want to die here. I'm grateful to see the dream of Band-Aid still alive, still raising awareness, and hopefully that will extend to everybody all across the planet who are trying to get their lives back in this post pandemic world. Today is Thanksgiving in America. I pray everyone across the planet will find peace. I pray the soldiers will lay down their weapons and look into the eyes of their fellow man and see the strength in our diversity. I pray we will find brotherhood in each other's eyes that brings unity, forgiveness, strength and Hope to this post pandemic war-torn world, Have a blessed day.

Indeed we know it's Christmas come to Ghana and see for yourself this song which is supposed to be aid for Africa has caused more harm for Africa we have lost a lot of investment, tourists and self confidence through the images that the song video and the images the western media portrait Africa to be do the people of Ukraine know it's Christmas not the whole people of Europe u might think you are helping, a country in Africa is going through a difficult time not the whole continent it's hard time u drop this stupid colonial mindset
