US 319 from Thomasville Ga to Tallahassee Florida is the old U.S. 19 route so at one point US 19 DID in fact go through Tallahassee, Florida.

US 19 Sunshine Skyway was the sight of the Summit Venture Disaster in 1980.

When you get to I-285, it actually is concurrent with I-285 to Roswell Road.

GA Hwy 9 goes directly into Dawsonville. US Hwy 19 and GA Hwy 400 by-passes Dawsonville. US Hwy 19 used to be concurrent with GA Hwy 9.

Going north from Florida the control city is Albany with 57 miles. Once you get to Albany, Atlanta is the control city with 178 miles.

US 19 is a Georgia Road Improvement Corridor from Florida State Line to I-75 in Forest Park Jonesboro Clayton County. It uses the historic route GA Hwy 3 instead of getting a new GA GRIP number like GA 520 and GA 540. It is also the only highway in Georgia co-signed with both GA 400 and GA 300 Georgia Florida Parkway. US 19 becomes the Florida-Georgia Parkway in Florida.

⁠Actually US 19 WAS the popular route to go from Atlanta to Florida. I-75 was originally planned to follow either Georgia state route 1 (US 27) or Georgia state route 3 (US 41) from the Tennessee state line to Atlanta GA, (US 19) from Atlanta GA to Thomasville GA, (US 319) to the Florida State line and onto Tallahassee, Florida which was supposed to be the original terminus of I-75 before it was extended to St. Petersburg where it ended at US 19.

Camden on that sign for 295 north makes sense. It's big enough at 72k. It has plenty of exits. And if you were going to Trenton, it's quicker taking 95 north. At 42, you already passed the quickest way to Camden. That's wrong to wait this long before signing Camden.

I see your argument for Philly here (for 1N/322E) however, at this point, we're facing in a southerly direction, getting ready to turn East. In a way, i feel like something else should be there, but definitely not Concordville. For 1 S, that should be Baltimore. 1:06:26 Had the "To I-95" sign not been there, it'd would make more sense to sign Chester. Technically, both routes take you to Philly, but most days 322 is faster, despite US1 being the shorter route. 1:07:30 I would sign Atlantic City here. 1:10:00 Yes, 295 does graze Trenton, so it does make sense to sign it. I do like how New Jersey puts mile markers on practically every state route, and most county routes as well. (although, look at NJ 55.. it starts at MM20, lmao)
