I've never humped the medium Molle, but it seems that instead of a permanent pouch with PALS, it would be better with just PALS webbing. That way one could use a variety of pouches instead of just one type. And, the medium Molle can't upgrade to the M2 large harness, but the Alice can? Id've Made that standard.

Frankly, I don't know what all this talk is about the trigger being difficult to pull. Mine is a breeze. Now cocking it on the other hand can be tough.

I go with Alice rucksack and Molle plate carriers and admin pouch. I'm a forest camo, classic OD, and black ops tactical boy. Cheers.

These weapons are not designed for long distance shots, it is designed almost as a long distance knife, not as a snipper weapon. If you need a weapon to give you some space from an instant surprise attack, giving you sometime to run, maybe grab your attackers weapon this is what it's good for, one shot, one kill. Us army.

For anyone wondering, I own the rifle on the top rack in this video, And in 2024 it's still a fantastic looking and shooting rifle. It still had the 2017 shot show tag on the trigger guard! Never fired except the three proof rounds fired at the factory! Absolutely love this rifle.

It seems that you're not screen on the safety. It's either located when you open. The breach, or if it's a early piece, it will be on the outside by the trigger hammer. You can actually tighten a screw that makes it a little harder to disengage the safety. Read the book that came with it.

The only problem with the Bond Arms Derringers is the trigger in which you have to get a specific pull angle! The handle needs to be redesigned, it’s not a fun gun to shoot! Make those changes and they would double sales

Practice is the key to success in shooting. I carry my Bond Arms snake slayer iv or grizzly as my primary piece. I constantly hit the middle torso (chest) at 21-31ft 7-10 yds. .45 colt hurt feelings. I put the Grizzly 3" barrel in the cup holder ready just cock n fire. Love the feel of it I'm not looking for a shootout just hit and get away from the situation. I do have a 6 round holder that I keep with 4 .45 colt and 2.410 shotgun in my backpack.

Awesome! They figured out how to gig you for some more money for a part that should have already came with the gun. Kinda like back when car manufacturers would sell new trucks without a bumper because they knew you would have to buy it separately for even more money because states required trucks to have bumpers.

Great comparison video! You're not kidding about the prices. I picked up a 1976 surplus medium Alice and it was $90.00. However. I got the entire kit, pack, frame, all the pads and straps in mint condition. Considering they're selling for upwards of $200.00 and piecemealing one together would be just as, if not more expensive, I'm good with it. I did a lot of customization and turned it into a medium malice pack. Extra pockets, canteens, upgraded all the metal fasteners to plastic quick clips. And managed to find a back plate. So, it can sit upright or carry a heavier load. Best pack the military ever came up with.

To overcome the trigger geometry all you do is remove the trigger guard, it then becomes easier / natural for finger placement. The trigger actually feels lighter with the ability of optimal finger placement. It is not a “sighted gun” . It is a “point n shoot” gun…

I use Primarily wood for heat where I live, around here you mostly get Pine. the sap turns into like a wag over time and definitely veins through the wood. usualy thats where it splits with a maul. I take the time to harvest it as Im splitting the wood. I get more than I need. when I put my fire together I use about a teaspoon of it and spread it on parts of the lower wood and light that. no paper or cardboard or nothing needed. a teaspoon in 8 little blobs is more than enough to get that fire going without having to babysit it a bit

Of course dumbfks will put lights and sights and sht on it. Dumbfks put that crap all over everything, then it will sit in their closets doing nothing right along with all the other crap they bought to give them that "tactical veteran sniper blue line" feel about themselves.

Imo an unloaded weapon at home, that you bought for self defense, is nothing more than a paper weight. Criminals aren’t going to give you the opportunity to load your weapon before they attack you or your family. Putting that information out on the internet is probably not a good idea. I only say this in the interest of safety. Great review, thanks for sharing it.

If you are having trouble seeing the front sight due to contrast issues (as it is all polished stainless), go to your local pharmacy or whatever and get some cheap nail polish (Pick any colour that you like). Put a little of the nail polish on your front sight. The benefit to using nail polish is that it is easily removed with nail polish remover, so you can change colours or apply a finer bead if desired. This works with pretty much any firearm.
