What is that sling ? Also what do u think of the solgw 11.5? Vs this or the 12.5 cobalt? I’m looking for a good 11.5 to 12.5 and going to get either the hux flow or the cat WB. I need it to be in pistol format. I currently have the 13.7 solgw sage dynamics pin with the Knox break. From my understanding understanding that if u get a carbine length it’s harder on your gun parts and might not be as smooth??? I keep hearing ppl say get mid length gas systems. Could you explain the patrol gas length? I’m trying to buy or build a AR that I will keep the can on it most of the time but also can use the can on my 13.7. I can’t change the Knox off my solgw. So I’m kinda leaning towards the cat WB can with the hub.

"When you sit down it gets a 'little bit uncomfortable'.." Do you mean it crushes the gun side jewel? Mine crushes the gun side jewel. Might not be able to do a fullsize, or I need to lose more weight. lol.

At 18:24 the reason it’s snagging is that the blade side of the shears are outside the small pocket on the inside/back of the IFAK.

Actually the XM3 was an 18 inch 308. Col. Norm Chandler over at Iron Brigade Armory came to the conclusion that the 18 inch barrel gave up nothing in performance to a 20 inch barrel. Semper Fi

The XM3's primary purpose was fighting urban areas. The Corps wanted this rifle in addition to the M40's not to replace them. Semper Fi

@Kaiserland111Ай бұрын
If you have less hand strength it might be a bit hard to rack the slide and load the magazine, but assuming that isn't a problem for you then it would be great as a first gun. Many people consider the .380 ACP round to be the lowest acceptable power for a self-defense gun so just practice a lot so you hit the target's vitals.

LaRue's pricing is completely unacceptable in 2024. Any AR over $2500 I expect to be fully ambi, with a 20+ position adjustable gas system, and multiple color / furniture options all from the factory. BG Defense, Nemo Arms, and Blackout Defense have raised the bar with AR's. Radian, Knight, LMT, HK, LaRue, LWRC, etc are falling behind and not adjusting pricing accordingly.

I bought the original in 2016. It was my first civilian pistol. It looks like this new version addresses all the shortcomings of my first one. I wear 2XL gloves so it was way too small to enjoy at the range.

The original bodyguard was my first ccw. I got a blister on my finger after shooting it 50 times and the long trigger was horrible on my groups. I looked at the new bg at my guns tore is gonna be a big hit

Why hasn't SOLGW offered the Veil/Tomahawk receiver set? Or at least offer this color on their other receiver sets.

I have carred a "full sized" firearm since 1975. But i am larger than many 6 feet 2 inches @ 235 lbs. I also live in a stand your ground state with Castle Doctrine state. A quality gun belt in black leather and leather suspenders keeps my pants from slipping off. My gun beltis quality leather with a steel strap sewn in keeps it from sagging or folding out. Alienwear Shape Shofter IV, is the best combo i personally found. One otheradvantage of a full sized steel pistol also makes a much better club in the case you need to beat domeone with in the event you need to hit someone in a up close and personal fight if you don't get time to reload, ask me how i know. Steel trumps polymer every time. Like age and treachery...

I got SOLGW tomahawk I really like the rifle. It’s very light no issue what so ever but it gets hot super fast compared to to LWRC and the grouping gets wide supper quick when it gets hot. It’s a working horse but not a precision rifle

Maybe a stupid question but I am a new CCW in California. Why CC a full size? Is it simply extra mag capacity? I have a M&P 2.0 but it's huge and heavy, can't imagine why I would want to CC it. Yes, it shoots awesome at the range, but that's a different use case.
@andrewsanford2020Ай бұрын
I have been carrying the fullsize m&p 9mm for about 8 years, not the 2.0. I'd love to have one though. At least for me, it's worth it for the longer barrel for full cartridge potential. Better recoil, better follow ups. It also comes down to that's the gun id want to save my life.
