i hated this chapter so much, or to be exact what came after it. they didnt linger on it, they didnt make thorfinn realize what he was about to do, he just spared his life and moved on, like he wasn't about to do something that completely goes against his believe's. such a shame because it had a lot of potential.

Don't worry bro. He does fight more, but he doesn't go back to being a hateful raging animal like when he was a kid. He is more measured. And when he does fight and hurt people it's because he has to, not out of anger or hatred or negative emotions. The Floki situation really tested him though. I hope we get to see it in season 3.

"I. Have. No Enemies." ...pfft yeah right.. when your father gets his head cut infront of you and is trapped by mercenaries..you will never forget that. Revenge always is in your heart, buried deep inside and rightfully so. You TAKEBACK what that person took away from you and that is the shame that was put onto your father and you. It contents you to a degree.

Nah brother. Revenge is a fools game, it ain't worth it. Sure, Thorfinn has the right to kill Floki since he took his father away from him. But then what's next? Have Baldr swear vengeance upon him? Revenge would only breed more hatred and revenge, and that's not the kind of world Thorfinn and Einar want to build.

That's a Harsh and Violent perspective, but you fail to understand that's not the only perspective to have in life. It's easy to give in to violence and revenge and it's harder to be a kinder person so I get your point, but it's not like it's impossible.

*Spoiler* I can't remember if this was before or after Hilda forgave Thorfinn, but I'm pretty confidant Hilda would have intervened and tried to hurt/kill Thorfinn for trying to take another life. She would question, okay if he was responsible for killing your father and you want to kill him, why can't I kill the one responsible for killing mine? If it was post-forgiveness, she would try to quell his anger and try to prevent Thorfinn from attacking Floki
