If you would like a critique of Dmitry Bivol's strength & conditioning training I suggest you talk with my mentor www.youtube.com/@DrewBaye ; additionally you might appreciate the book by Gary Bannister entitled "If You Like Exercise ... Chances Are You're Doing It Wrong"--which discusses problems with the way Bivol trains.

@@bryancruz9789 Boring and Ineffective: The Soviet style of boxing is the epitome of boring. It's a snoozefest of constant slipping, ducking, and weaving. These guys spend more time avoiding punches than actually throwing them. It's like watching paint dry, only less exciting. Chicken Boxing: Soviet boxers are a bunch of chickens. They're too scared to engage in a real fight. All they do is circle around the ring, jabbing timidly and hoping their opponent makes a mistake. It's a pathetic display of cowardice. Outdated and Irrelevant: The Soviet Union collapsed decades ago, but their outdated boxing style lingers on. It's a relic of a bygone era, a dinosaur in a modern sport. Real boxing fans want action, not a bunch of defensive tactics and boring point-fighting. A Disgrace to Boxing: The Soviet style is a disgrace to the noble art of boxing. It prioritizes safety over aggression, skill over excitement. True boxing fans want to see fighters who go all out, who leave it all in the ring. The Soviet style is the exact opposite of that. A Waste of Talent: Many talented boxers have been ruined by the Soviet style. They're taught to be cautious and defensive, to play it safe instead of taking risks. As a result, they never reach their full potential. It's a tragedy for the sport.

That guy at 10:20 despite the language barrier is a quality coach. I’m looking to have my first fight in march and I’ll be drilling that over and over, the long left hook is a thing of beauty and the way bivol can lead with it or throw it off the jab to keep them guessing is elite.
